Chertanovo is a football school, which in recent years has become one of the leading specialized institutions in Moscow and the entire Central District. Having behind them the support of the Moscow Government, the leaders of this center were able to attract a number of outstanding coaches to work and put on stream the education of young football talents. This is confirmed by the fact that as part of the youth team of Russia, which in May 2013 became the European champion, six people were at once “Chertanovtsy”.
History and traditions
Children's football school "Chertanovo", its creation and formation are most closely associated with the name of B. N. Shevernev. This is one of those enthusiasts, with the direct participation of which thousands of boys from the outskirts of Moscow got a chance not only to play in the championship of Moscow, the Soviet Union and Russia, but also to gain considerable life experience, invaluable for their further development.
The first admission to the youth sports school No. 1 of the Soviet district of the capital was made in 1976. For several years she has established herself as one of the best training centers for young soccer players. A number of her pupils began to regularly be called up to the Moscow team and even to national teams of different ages. Fruitful work allowed the school in five years to obtain the status of a sports center of the Olympic reserve.
However, Boris Nikolaevich saw his task much wider. For him, Chertanovo was originally a football school, which was supposed not only to educate future football players, but also to provide students with a good secondary education. It was on his initiative in 1988 that an ordinary comprehensive school was opened here, which made it possible to build the educational and educational process in such a way as to fully reveal the abilities and talents of each pupil.
The fate of the football school in the Russian period
The troubled 1990s, Chertanovo met in a new guise. Literally in the last months of the existence of the once great power, B. N. Shevernev managed to realize his long-standing dream - to create a real sports and educational cluster. The thing is that not only the SDYUSSHOR and a comprehensive school, but also a pre-school educational center, and even a wonderful kindergarten were combined into one unit. Such a union made it possible to make the educational process continuous, and to seek out and educate future football stars from almost infancy.
In the future, the development of the football center was uneven. A turning point was outlined in the mid-2000s, when the Moscow Government became the main sponsor of the school. Largely thanks to his support, it was possible to open the Chertanovo football boarding school and several football fields. Thus, this sports and educational cluster has acquired an excellent infrastructure that allows it to work with young football players as efficiently as possible.

Today Chertanovo has everything necessary for effective work with young pupils. Its main structural element is the school of the Olympic reserve, in which, along with the male one, the women's department has been operating quite successfully for several years. SDUSSHOR has several training fields, most of which are artificial, with good heating.
In the secondary school, the educational process is designed so that young students, despite the daily workload in training, have the opportunity to get a good education. The administration of the center understands that not all students will be able to become football stars in the future, but a good education will help each of them to open the door to a great life.
It is worth emphasizing that training at Chertanovo is absolutely free. Each pupil receives uniforms and training suits, has the opportunity to use any sports and educational facilities free of charge. Most students receive very impressive scholarships.
Health Center
Chertanovo is a football school that has one of the best health centers in institutions of this type. Despite the fact that its creation dates back to the Soviet period, significant changes have occurred in the last decade. New equipment and cabinets were purchased that allow for high-quality preventive and rehabilitation work with young pupils. This is especially important due to the fact that the intensity of the training process even at the youth level has significantly increased in recent years.
Boarding is the pride of a sports school
Chertanovo is a football club with its own boarding school. This allows the administration of the center to seek out talented children throughout the Moscow region and even in other regions of Russia. Professional educators work here, who not only carefully monitor the observance of the daily regime and discipline, but also become for each pupil truly second parents. Particular attention is paid to orphans, for whom this football school means much more than just a sports and educational institution.
The boarding school has everything not only for studying and playing sports, but also in order to brighten up your leisure time. Young pupils have the opportunity in their free time to play billiards and table tennis, swim in the pool, watch TV, plunge into the unforgettable atmosphere of computer games.
Coaching staff
Chertanovo is a football school, which is very kind to not only the younger generation, but also the personnel issue. Here the selection of trainers is approached both from professional and from a purely human point of view. This person should have the skills of a teacher and mentor, in order to see a personality in each pupil, to be able to find an individual approach to him. This ensures the absence of the notorious "staff turnover" when students do not have time to get used to the requirements and methods of one mentor, as he is replaced by another. Among the trainers of Chertanovo it is worth highlighting L. A. Ablizin, V. N. Razumovsky, M. Makarshin and A. Abaev. All of them bear the honorary title of "Honored Coach of Russia" and enjoy unquestioned authority both among the pupils and their colleagues.
From the championship of Moscow to the Russian team
Football Academy "Chertanovo" professionally approaches the process of educating football players. This applies not only to the availability of an excellent training base and excellent coaching staff, but also to the opportunity for young students to participate in the championships of Moscow and Russia, thereby reinforcing the skills gained in training arenas in practice.
For almost a decade, Chertanovo pupils have regularly been called up to the Moscow national team of different ages. By the way, this applies not only to young people, but also to girls, because the Chertanovo women's football school is rightfully considered one of the flagships of this sport in our country.
The Chertanovtsy are playing an increasingly prominent role at the level of junior national teams of Russia. The school’s administration emphasizes that in the golden success of the team, made up of seventeen-year-old pupils, the “Chertans” also played a significant role: six students of the academy became winners of this tournament. Especially among them stand out defender Vladislav Parshikov and midfielder Yegor Rudkovsky, who predict a brilliant football future.
Between KFK and Second Division
For any young football player who sets himself the goal of getting into the Premier League team, it is very important to meet on the field not only with his peers, but also with established players. That is why Chertanovo finances teams acting among physical education teams and in the Second Division.
It is not the first year that the Chertanovo Football Club (Moscow) has been playing in the Center zone of the Second Division. And he does it quite successfully, being a strong middle peasant. At the same time, the school management and the coaching staff of the club do not set themselves the goal of necessarily fighting for prizes. More important is the provision of opportunities for young players (and the age of “Chertanovites” does not exceed 23 years) to “boil” among real men, to realize their abilities, to analyze and correct technical errors and gaps in tactics.
In the Third Division of the championship of Russia stands the amateur club Chertanovo. Football players are playing here, who for some reason could not get into the main team. Specialists drew attention to the fact that it is best for any, even the most talented player, to start performances from the very "bottom", so that, gradually adding to the skill, develop their technical and tactical abilities.
Famous pupils
Football school "Chertanovo", reviews of which are almost always positive, first gave the Soviet and then the Russian championship many of their students, who left a very noticeable mark here. Igor Kolyvanov, who, after spending several bright seasons at Dynamo Moscow, then went to conquer (and very successfully!) The expanses of the Italian series A, is especially different.
In addition, the graduates of the school in different years were such significant personalities for domestic football as I. Chugainov, A. Gordeev, M. Cheltsov, A. Samorukov. They all try to support their native academy and respond with warmth and gratitude to it. So, a few years ago I. Kolyvanov established a cup bearing his name, which became a real holiday for the boys.
