What are the gall bladder exercises for? Why do they need to be done? You will find answers to these and other questions in the article. With stagnant catagenesis in the gallbladder, doctors offer a set of exercises as an addition to the basic treatment. With systematic studies, it reduces the risk of exacerbation of the disease. Consider the exercises for the gallbladder below.
Why is the outflow of bile reduced?
Why do you need exercises for the gallbladder? It is known that the liver constantly produces a secret that drains into the gallbladder, and when it contracts, it moves to the duodenum and is involved in the digestion of food. If bile stagnates, the contents do not pass further and accumulate.
The outflow disorder is caused by calculi, which clog the bladder lumen. Due to stagnation of bile in the patient, the digestive process is upset, the corresponding symptoms appear.
A decrease in the outflow of bile occurs for other reasons. It is provoked by twisting, bile duct tumors, duct stenosis, and not just stones in the gall bladder. To prevent this, patients are prescribed gymnastics, the systematic implementation of which reduces the risk of relapse. Exercises for the gallbladder with stagnation of bile are prescribed by the doctor of exercise therapy in accordance with a specific clinical case.
What is charging for?
Gall bladder exercises are necessary for:
- improvement of outflow of bile;
- eliminate cholestasis;
- spasm relief;
- metabolic acceleration;
- Improving the functions of the digestive tract;
- strengthening the nervous system;
- restoration of CCC functions.
Such physical training strengthens the abdominal press, which, as a result, perfectly holds the internal organs. Also, the gymnastics we are considering develops diaphragmatic breathing, restores contractile function, and improves blood circulation in the biliary system.
It is known that because of the prolapse of the internal organs, the gall bladder is bent, so gymnastics for the abdominal press restores its functionality. After such training, the muscles of the abdominal wall strengthen and hold the organs in the correct position.
Exercise will be more beneficial if you attach yoga to it, daily walking in the fresh air before bedtime. With stagnation of bile exercise is contraindicated in the period of exacerbation of the disease.
Standing exercises
Walk a couple of minutes before charging. Then perform a breathing exercise: inhale - draw in your stomach, exhale - pull out (2 min.). The following are basic exercises:
- Do the movements slowly. Place your feet shoulder-width apart, raise your arms up and stretch - inhale. Lower your hands as much as possible, touching the floor - exhale.
- Get up on your toes, hands up - inhale. Lower your hands along the body - exhale.
- Put your hands on your belt, sit down shallow, stand up.
- Hands there. Bend alternately back and forth. You do not need to monitor your breathing.
- The situation is the same, follow the body in a circular motion. Do not follow your breathing.
- Put your feet shoulder width apart. Lean over, take out your left foot with your right hand and vice versa.
- Put your hands on your belt. Twist the torso to the left, then to the right.
- Relaxation. Raise your hands gently up, then lower them slowly.
Repeat each movement 5 times.
Lying down
Charge while lying down as follows:
- Do breathing exercises.
- Alternately pull the lower limbs to the stomach, sliding on the floor with your foot.
- Grasp your bent knees with your hands and press it to your chest. Lift your head and stretch to your knees, relax.
- Raise bent legs at the knees in turn.
- Next, bent legs alternately shift left or right.
- Bend the leg at the knee, pull it with your hands to your stomach, release it. Lift and release again. Change your leg and do the same exercise.
- Lift your straight leg up, reach for the toe with your hands, lower. Do the same exercise with the other leg.
- Lift straight legs up. Then wrap your arms around them, reach for your knees with your head. Next, take the starting position.
- Lift the legs bent at the knees, scroll them alternately back and forth, as if you were pedaling on a bicycle. Perform 1 min. in each direction.
On the side
Perform breathing exercises again, lie on your right side. Next, perform this set of exercises:
- Bend your knees, put one hand under your head, and place the other in front. Raise your arm and leg bent up (inhale), lower (exhale). Perform the same task, lying on the other side.
- Take the same starting position, but take your foot back.
- The exercise is done, like the previous one, but after you take your leg back, you need to pull the limb bent at the knee to the chest. Repeat the task with the other leg.
On the stomach
Now roll over on your stomach and take the starting position. Then follow these steps:
- Do breathing exercises.
- Imitate breaststroke while lying on your stomach. Hands, feet, as well as shoulders and head should be torn off the floor.
- From a prone position, stand on all fours, and then on your heels. Perform squats springy.
- Standing on all fours, swing your leg back, and then pull it to your chest. Do the same with the other leg.
- Place your hands on the floor and rise on your toes, lifting your pelvis up.
Complete a set of wellness exercises with breathing exercises. Repeat all tasks 5 times.
What tasks does exercise therapy solve?
Academician Amosov (Ukrainian cardiac surgeon) spoke about the benefits of gymnastics for cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia, and gallstone disease. He wrote that the success of the treatment of these pathologies depends on physical activity in many ways.
Exercise activates the movement of lymph and blood vessels, stimulates the metabolism of muscle, has a beneficial effect on the nervous system regulating the functioning of organs. During their implementation, a larger number of bioactive substances and hormones necessary for harmonious activity of the organs enter the bloodstream.
You can not do exercises during an exacerbation of cholecystitis (severe pain, fever) and in the presence of signs of displacement of the stone (gallstone disease).
By the way, it is best to do gymnastics in the morning, before breakfast, freeing the intestines and bladder. Ventilate the room well before exercise.
When bending the gallbladder
What exercises should be performed when bending the gallbladder? With this pathology, stagnation often appears.
Doctors advise every day to engage in physical education, which includes both routine exercises and techniques aimed at facilitating the flow of bile into the intestines from a deformed organ. To combat this problem, the following exercises are recommended:
- Lie on your stomach with your arms bent. Pushing up, tear the torso off the floor, linger for two seconds, then return to the supine position.
- Lie on your back, place your hands under your head. Raise your legs slowly. When the angle between the floor and the legs reaches 30-45 ° C, lower the legs.
- Lying on your stomach, stretch your arms out in front of you and make them simulate rowing movements. Try to keep your arms and legs on weight.
With gallstone disease
What exercises can be done for gallstones? In this case, you can perform only the lightest gymnastics, since due to muscle tension, the stone can move and block the bile duct.
Perform exercises lying on your back, the final two - lying on your left side. The pace of execution should be unhurried, breathing should be rhythmic: inhale when performing an exercise, exhale when returning to its original position. The number of repetitions is five to six.
- Place your hands along the torso. Bend and unbend your legs, moving your feet across the floor with sliding movements.
- Bend your legs at the knees, make them bend to both sides.
- Lift your torso, touch your knees with your palms, then return to the original position.
- Make movements with your hands, like wings, spread them apart and push them to the body.
- Alternately raise the left leg and right arm, then the left arm and right leg up.
- Bend in the belt, take the right leg back, then pull the knee to the chest. Return to the initial position.
- Repeat the previous step, using both legs and arms.
After elimination of the gallbladder
And what exercises can be performed after removal of the gallbladder? If there are no complications, then you can start classes already 4-8 weeks after surgery. After cholecystectomy, gymnastics should be done at least a year daily, and then every other day. The number of repetitions quietly increase from 2-3 to 5-6. Perform the first three exercises while standing, the final three exercises while lying on your back. So, exercise after removing the gallbladder, do this:
- Put your hands on the shoulders, lift your elbows to the sides - up, then lower.
- Raise your woven arms above your head “into the lock”, then lower them, spreading apart.
- Put your feet shoulder width apart and rotate your torso.
- Lift your legs above the floor and spread them apart. Bring your legs one above the other one by one (the “scissors” technique).
- Pull your knee toward your stomach, then straighten your leg. Repeat this step for the other leg.
- Place your hands along the torso, bend your legs, pull your feet to the buttocks. Slowly raise and lower the pelvis.
These exercises are recommended to be done constantly - both for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes. After a couple of months, the results of such classes will become noticeable.
For the liver
So, you already know what exercises after laparoscopy of the gallbladder you need to do. Is there any gymnastics for the liver? It is known that the liver is a natural filter of our body. Due to a sedentary lifestyle, malnutrition, smoking and drinking alcohol, this vital organ ceases to cope with its functions. Significant help in preventing liver diseases or alleviating existing ones can be provided by special gymnastics.
Each exercise for the liver and gall bladder should be repeated 4-5 times. So, follow these steps:
- Lie on your back, place your hands along the torso and raise your legs. Turn the pedals of an imaginary bicycle for one minute.
- Lie on your left side, simultaneously raise your right foot and right hand, hold for a couple of seconds, and assume the starting position.
- Lying on your back, place your hands under the buttocks, palms down. Next, lower your legs by lifting them about 8 cm above the floor. Cross your legs imitating “scissors”.
- Lie on your stomach, slightly bend your back and "swim" breaststroke for 30 seconds.
- Get on all fours, sit on your heels. Stay in this position for a couple of minutes.
- Stand up, put your hands on your belt and do 20 squats.
- Take 20 bends to the right and forward, trying to reach the right knee with your forehead.
- Jump in place on two legs about 10 cm in height.
Such gymnastics quickly and effectively eliminates stagnation in the gallbladder and liver, stimulates the formation of bile and improves metabolic processes in the liver. Before you begin to do therapeutic and preventive exercises, be sure to consult your doctor who will help you adjust the load based on the general condition of your body and the severity of the disease. Be healthy!
