Vissan Ben Yedder is a French footballer playing for the Spanish Sevilla. This year he turned 26 years old, so that he still has a lot of playing time ahead. As for the position on the field, Ben Yedder plays as the center forward of the attack, but if necessary, he can also take the position of a drawn forward.
Carier start
Vissan Ben Yedder was born on August 12, 1990 in France in a family of Tunisian immigrants. At the age of ten, he enrolled in the football academy of the club Garges Le Gonnes, in which he studied for seven years. In 2007, the guy moved to the Saint-Denis club academy, where he stayed for another two years, but concluded a professional contract with another club that played in the regional league. It was in Alforville that the striker began his career, having played 23 games in a season and scored nine goals. His performances were noticed by the club from the Higher League - “Toulouse”. It was there that in 2010 Ben Yedder moved and spent most of his career there.
The game in Toulouse

However, in Toulouse, the player was far from immediately entrusted with a place at the base or at least in reserve - he spent the first two years in a double, only occasionally falling into the application of the main team. In the first year, he entered the field for an adult team only five times, the next year the number of matches increased to eleven. Then Ben Yedder scored his first goal for Toulouse. In 2012, he finally ended up in the main team and almost immediately paved his way into the starting lineup. In 37 games of that season, he scored fifteen goals, which impressed absolutely everyone. In the next two seasons, he also scored about the same number of goals - 17 and 15. But the past 15/16 season was a real benefit for him. Forward in 41 matches scored 23 goals, becoming one of the top scorers. It was then that “Toulouse” and received an offer from the Spanish “Seville”, which was looking for a new striker. Naturally, the player agreed, since in recent years the Spanish club has shown amazing results, having won the Europa League three times in a row - despite the fact that Ben Yedder himself has never played in Eurocups in his life. Toulouse received nine million euros for the striker, and the Frenchman decided to take the chance to fly to the top.
Transition to Seville
Vissan Ben Yedder is a footballer who did not find anything easy, so he did not hope that he would move to a new club and immediately begin to score as much as in Toulouse, leaving the base in every match. But already at the start of the season, the forward very often began to appear on the field, having played at the moment already nine matches. At the same time, he scored four goals, which is much more than anyone could expect from a player who first got out of his native country, from a middle club.
Team appearances
As for the French team, in which every French football player dreams of playing, Ben Yedder has not yet had a chance to show himself there. After all, in France there are many talented strikers who have constant practice at the highest level and perform in Eurocups every year. Vissan Ben Yedder, in turn, spent only a few matches for the youth team in 2012, but since then he could not be called there because of age restrictions. Perhaps if his first season at Seville is successful, the striker will finally receive a call to the national team. However, the prospect looks rather vague, as France already has one of the strongest forwards of the upcoming five-year plan Lacazette, as well as a younger generation of young talents such as Martial and Fekir. But only performances at the highest level will show whether Ben Yedder will be worthy of a call to the national team or whether other football players will show his place, showing a more impressive result.
