Some tablet users, due to their work, are forced to take many photos. For example, application developers must save many screenshots daily from their iPad. This usually clutters albums as screenshots are stored in the same place as personal photos. Fortunately, extra pictures are pretty easy to erase.
So, how to remove photos from the iPad?
First, go to your Photos app. You can also access images through the iPad's camera control by touching the icon next to the options button or by swiping the screen from left to right.
Next, select the photos tab, showing the albums you need. If you have many pictures saved, you can also delete a single image. Click on the photo you want to erase. This will open it in full screen. From here, you can simply click on the trash can in the upper right corner of the screen. If you do not see this button, click on the middle of the display to open the title bar. You will be asked to confirm the deletion of the photo.
Delete multiple files
Do you know how to delete photos from iPad in bulk? This can be very useful if you take dozens of shots daily, trying to get one perfect shot. This is also a great way to save time if you need to clear a lot of space on your iPad and it has hundreds of images stored at different times.
After launching the Photos application, simply select the album containing the images you want to delete. If you are not sure that the files you need are in a particular directory, the tab at the top of the screen contains all the images stored on the iPad.
Then click the Submit button in the upper right corner of the screen. It looks like a square with an arrow coming out of it. On the main screen, the edit button puts your iPad in multiple highlight mode.
After you click Submit, you are ready to select the photos you want to delete. A simple click on the image will cause a blue circle with a check mark on it. Continue until you select all the photos you want to delete. When this is done, click the red button at the top of the screen. You will be asked to confirm that you want to erase the selected items and the images will be removed from the iPad. On this, instructions on how to remove photos from the iPad can be considered complete. This is much easier than looking for each image individually to get rid of it.
Located in the programs
Not all images can be erased so easily. It also happens that after following the above instructions, photos from the iPad are still not deleted. However, this is also quite fixable. What is the reason for this?
Deleting images from saved photos or Photo Stream, for example, has certain specifics. Some images, namely those that you copy from an email page or any site, are automatically downloaded under the "Saved Photos" label (original iPad menu).
Just click on the image to open it, and then on the “Delete” icon, which appears in the upper right corner when you try to display the image management. To finish the work, click on the big red button “Delete photo”. Or, lightly press anywhere on the screen if you decide to save the image in your iPad to a different folder.
Photo stream
If you use programs for iPad - photo and video services, you should also consider their specifics. So, when your images are in Photo Stream, they will be erased from this application on all devices. How to delete photos from iPad in this case?
Open the album, click "Action" in the upper right corner, and a red Delete button will appear in the upper left corner of the screen. Now click on each photo you want to get rid of. A checkmark will appear on each of them. When you have determined the pictures to delete, click “Delete Selected Photos”. If you change your mind, you can select the Cancel button instead.
