The history of the village
The village of Belaya Gora (Yakutia) was founded in 1969. The need for the construction of a new modern settlement appeared after the village. The team, which was central, was subjected to multiple flooding due to its poor location. From the very beginning, it was planned that the new settlement would become a socio-economic center. Therefore, in addition to the construction of apartment buildings, it was planned to build a developed infrastructure. In order to avoid the threat of flooding, the village was erected on a hill. The name Belaya Gora (Yakutia) received its name at the end of 1971.
Village Development History
Due to the rapid pace of construction, houses, boiler houses, hospitals, shops, warehouses, schools were erected as soon as possible. An oil depot, production plants, an aircraft site, and a power station appeared in the village of Belaya Gora. Yakutia has acquired all the necessary facilities for the administration of the district. In periods when the Lena River is not covered with ice, it is the main channel for delivering goods to the village. First, goods are loaded onto river vessels of the port of Belogorsk from the sea. The airport operates year-round and receives cargo planes. In winter, they are the only way to deliver the necessary goods, products, and medicines.
