The origins
At the beginning of the 19th century, after the end of the Crimean War, newly minted landowners arrived on the banks of the Kuma River to settle in a manor located between the village of Majara and the fortress of the Holy Cross.
Alexey had an engineering degree, traveled a lot, but he devotedly devoted himself to housekeeping.
After some time, the landowners generously shared their special vodka - grape and fruit, but exceptionally soft and pleasant to drink. To get her to the table was considered a success from the local nobles.
And the secret was in the device, which Alexey Kuryanov made. This is a copper cube for distillation of wine spirits, an analogue of an apparatus made once for the production of cognac in the Charentes region in France.
Only there was one trick. Kuryanovsky brandy drink passed the process of distillation three times. This is precisely what gave such an unusual softness of taste for cognac. Back to the roots
Centuries passed, there are no longer those villages or landowners, but the memory of a special drink has been preserved. In the early 1920s, the Krasny Oktyabr state farm was organized on the site of the former landowner estates, and in 1960 the Krasnooktyabrsky winery was formed. And this is the story of the new birth of wine production in the region.
And in 1964, when the first wine production of the Krasny Oktyabr factory was launched on the domestic market, specialists began to collect recipes for ancient famous drinks.
In July 1999, the company was reorganized into the modern Pearl of Stavropol AO. Here, a full cycle has been established for the production of high-quality popular wine and cognac drinks. Cognacs of the Troekurov series became one of such drinks.
