The Ampir restaurant in Voronezh (its name is a grand cafe) was opened in the premises of the Spartak movie theater, namely in its historical part, in 2015. This was the fourth restoration of the movie theater lobby, where all historical elements were preserved: ceiling moldings, staircase with balusters, cannulated columns with carved capitals.
Entrance doors to the cafe - a copy of the historic doors of the cinema. But the restored pens are the very ones that the residents of the city took upon entering the cinema.
It is not by chance that the name of the grand cafe "Empire" was also chosen. That was the name of the electrotheater, founded in 1913, with which the history of Spartak began. Why a grand cafe? The meaning of this name is that the first paid screening of the movie happened in the basement of the Paris Grand Cafe.
