The famous film actress Nicole Kidman at the premiere in Cannes appeared on the red carpet not only in an incredibly beautiful dress, but also impressed everyone with a stylish hairstyle. A similar hairstyle can be done with your own hands. A step-by-step process is presented in this article. For special occasions and official events there is no better option. Although our version is somewhat simplified and modified, but in its silhouette and style it may well compete with Nicole's hairdo.
DIY evening hairstyle : step by step the whole process
To create such a hairstyle, medium-length hair and preferably textured (curly) are best suited. In our case, the hairstyle is done on straight hair. If you want to get the effect of slight negligence, you will need to pre-prepare the hair: wind it, comb it a little and lightly varnish, so that the strands are more obedient. This model basically consists of French braids that fit in a spiral. Such a hairstyle was made by oneself, described step by step below, but first it is worth practicing in weaving French braids. Remember that the main difference between a classic braid and a French braid is that in the French method, hair is added only on one side during braiding (in our particular case, exclusively on top). The idea of such a solemn hairstyle is to carry out two French braids with their subsequent laying in a spiral on the back of the head.
Other stylish do-it-yourself hairstyles, step by step
Photos show a good sequence of work. We see that the girl herself does a beautiful hairstyle without resorting to the help of other people:
1. Separate a lock of hair above the right ear for weaving, as shown in the photograph. If you want, you can leave the bangs, but you can also include it in the weaving.
2. Start braiding a braid of three strands. Tip: a braided hairstyle is better if the hair is not too clean.
3. Alternate the following actions: shift the lock from right to left through the middle, then from left to right through the middle lock, then again from right to left through the middle and so on. At the same time, on each turn, add on one side (left) a small strand from the main mass of hair.
4. Continue weaving with your head bowed towards your ear until the braid reaches the middle of the back of the head. Try not to tighten the turns of the braid, so that it is airy, does not fit snugly to the head.
5. Point the braid down, doing so at the expense of the side strands. You will see how a stylish hairstyle, with your own hands, step by step, is approaching the end. The completed French braid should be fixed with an elastic band.
6. The remaining hair on the right should also be braided into a braid, following the pattern. Get started just below the first braid.
7. Having reached the middle of the head, begin to change direction, forming an arc. This can be achieved by adding strands to the weaving from the bottom of the head.
8. Finish the pigtail with the classical method and fix it with an invisible rubber band.
9. Form a spiral from a smaller braid and secure it with studs and invisibles. A large braid should be laid around a smaller spiral.
10. A do-it-yourself hairstyle completed by fixing with varnish.
