How to cook homemade noodles
Well, now we know how to cook noodles and it's time to learn some techniques for making homemade noodles.
In general, the recipe for homemade noodles has much in common with homemade dumplings, meaning the preparation of the dough. How to cook and how to cook homemade noodles we will learn in the description below:
- It is necessary to break one egg into a glass or a wide bowl, pour it to the very top with water and pour it into a bowl, where we will prepare the dough for our noodles.
- Then it is necessary to salt and add all the sifted flour to our bowl.
For soft homemade noodles, you can add sour cream, but not more than one tablespoon. Flour should be added a little, slowly, while simultaneously interfering in the egg with water. So the dough will be formed. The amount of flour should be such that a sufficiently thick, tough dough is obtained. - After the dough is kneaded to the desired consistency, it must be divided into four parts. Then we take a rolling pin and roll it into thin cakes one by one every four slices.
When rolling flat cakes, it is necessary to sprinkle them with flour from time to time so that they do not stick to either the rolling pin or the surface on which you roll them. The noodles will be exactly the thickness that the flat cake will be. - Then the resulting cakes (pancakes) must be hung out for 15 minutes, like clothes after washing on a rope. This is to make pancakes drier.
- After that it is necessary to cut our flat cakes with long strips. This must be done by folding them individually into rolls.
- Having received the required number of rolls, with a sharp knife they must be cut into rings of the thickness that you want to get at the output.
- Then you need to unwind all the rings, as a result, you should get homemade noodles.
We know how to cook noodles from the method described above, only additionally, when boiling home-made noodles (as, by the way, factory-made noodles) in boiling salted water, professionals advise throwing 1-2 bay leaves.
