Dyurite sleeve: description, characteristics, types, diameter and dimensions

A dyurite sleeve is a hose with a puff structure: made of rubber and special fabric. Its structure is multi-layered, which helps in the implementation of tasks.

What it is?

This device got its name from the Latin word durus. Translated into Russian, this means β€œhard” or β€œstrong”. The hose device is wire-frame, which allows it to maintain high flexibility in combination with excellent strength. A characteristic feature of a quality product is that even when bent or twisted, the internal section will remain unchanged. It is mainly thanks to these qualities that the dyurite sleeve was widely used in many fields of activity.

Production and brief description

The manufacture of this hose is carried out in several stages, since in itself it has a puff structure. The outer as well as the inner layer are made of a material such as rubber. The material should be suitable in two ways: thickness and density. These two layers are separated by another, and in some cases several, which are made of rubberized fabric. A characteristic feature of this device is that a small inclusion of dispersed minerals into one of the layers of the hose is allowed. However, there is an important condition, which consists in the fact that the size of these substances in the dyurite sleeve should not be more than 0.3 mm. The same indicator is a limitation for any irregularities that occur on the inner surface of the equipment.

Sleeves are used in many fields of activity. For example, they have found widespread use as a flexible pipeline in aviation, hydraulics, oil or fuel supply systems, etc. Frequent use of dyurite hoses has also become possible due to the fact that the temperature range of their operation is in the range from -55 to + 100 degrees centigrade. Due to such a wide range, the sleeves have been successfully used in the military sphere, in everyday life.

"Dyurit" can be translated as "multi-layer." This pretty accurately describes the construction of a flexible hose manufactured according to TU 0056016-87. The main task that this equipment performs is the supply of gaseous or liquid substances in special equipment. The length of the manufactured hose according to TU is in the range from 0.5 m to 20 m.

It is important to note that the diameters of the dyurite sleeves are very different. It is important to monitor this parameter, since depending on this indicator the maximum pressure that the sleeve is able to withstand will also change. At the maximum diameter of the hose, its limit is a pressure of 13 kg / cm2.

The design of the device looks like this: the inner rubber layer, several (from 2 to 6) reinforcement layers and the outer rubber. As raw materials for manufacture and subsequent use as reinforcement for the sleeve, a material such as textile, steel or copper wire is used.

Hose marking and manufacturing

Like any other technical product, the dyurite sleeve has its own marking. It should include several basic parameters of the hose, as well as its name. You can give an example of marking the sleeve based on one of the most common models - 40U. Such a product is designed for a maximum pressure of 13 atmospheres, while its internal diameter is 10 mm. This product is manufactured in accordance with TU 0056016-87. The full labeling of the goods will look like this: 40U-10-13-TU-0056016-87.

The manufacturing process for the sleeve is as follows. Calendered rubber is cut into strips that are superimposed on a technological metal mandrel. Thus, the outer diameter of the mandrel will exactly match the inner diameter of the future sleeve. To fasten the strips together, their joints are coated with glue, and then rolled with a roller. After that, the inner layer is ready, and the required number of reinforcing layers begin to be laid on top of it. After laying the latter, it is necessary to grease it again with glue. The last outer layer of rubber is attached to the glue. After that, the finished hose is subjected to a process such as vulcanization.

Storage of goods

The characteristics of dyurite sleeves in many respects determine the product storage process. In order to keep it in working condition so that it does not crack, it is necessary to store the hose only in its original packaging. They may only be stored in dark rooms where there is no direct sunlight. The temperature inside such a warehouse should be maintained in the range from 0 to +30 degrees Celsius.

However, there is some exception that allows you to store the product at low temperatures, but with one condition. Goods that were saved in this way should be kept in a room with room temperature (about 20 degrees) for a day. Only then can it be started to operate. It is also important to note that during storage with a temperature below 0 degrees it is necessary to exclude the possibility of mechanical damage to the hose, since in this case the rubber layer will crack.

Dyurite sleeve: GOST 10362-76

This state document describes all the rules for the manufacture, storage and use of rubber products, which include the sleeve.

The technical requirements for the finished product stipulate that the manufacture of this device should be carried out in strict accordance with the regulatory and technical documentation (NTD), which was installed and confirmed in the correct order.

Also, these requirements set the temperature conditions for different types of sleeves. Those products that are suitable for use in tropical and temperate climates should be resistant to freezing temperatures, up to -50 degrees Celsius.

That type of sleeve, which is recognized as suitable for use in cold climates, must retain its operational characteristics up to a temperature of -60 degrees Celsius.

Test

According to the state standard, some rules for testing are established. Only after passing through these operations the sleeve goes into operation. There are several points that must be fulfilled.

  1. The sample to be tested should be aged in an environment with a temperature of about 23 degrees Celsius, the time should be at least 1 hour.
  2. To measure the length of the hose, you can use a ruler with a measurement limit of 1000 mm and a division value of 1 mm. The second device suitable for carrying out this operation is roulette with a measurement limit of 30 m, as well as accuracy class 2.

The full version of the document has a few more points. It is worth noting that the price of a dyurite sleeve ranges from 190 rubles to 1350 rubles.
