In piston devices, the delivery element is a piston, which is made of a special material that can withstand enormous temperature and friction.
An oil-free compressor has both a number of advantages and its drawbacks. One of the main advantages of this unit is to obtain a high-quality result, that is, clean compressed air comes without any impurities. Ecologically, such devices are more attractive than oil devices because used oil requires disposal. Oil-free compressor is beneficial in maintenance, because there is no need to purchase filters, a variety of cleaning cartridges, compressor oil.
Among the shortcomings can be noted the high price of the product, as well as the lower engine life of the unit, which works without oil. After all, without lubrication, parts are used in extreme mode, there is a certain shortage of spare parts.
