What is the first aid for burns? People who are close to the victim are required to perform the following actions:
- As soon as possible, remove a person from a dangerous source that has a traumatic effect on body tissue.
- Immediately cool the skin of the victim using cold water or ice.
- Remove clothing that touches the damaged areas of the epidermis from a person, then treat the wounds with petroleum jelly and bandage them with sterile gauze dressings.
- Offer the victim drugs that have analgesic properties.
The sooner the above actions are taken, the higher are the chances of a quick restoration of the structure and functions damaged during the burn exposure to tissues.
Aloe juice from burns
The healing plant is rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids. These elements stimulate the regeneration of damaged tissues, contribute to the accelerated healing of wound surfaces. The use of folk remedies for burns looks like a rational solution for chemical and thermal effects on the skin.
There are several options for using aloe for rehabilitation after injuries:
- A large leaf of the plant is cut off at the base, after which the thorns are removed, washed under running water and cut lengthwise. Then the raw materials are slightly kneaded so that an abundance of juice stands out. The product is applied with pulp to the burn surface. Aloe leaf is fixed to the skin with a bandage.
- Cut the leaf of the plant from which the flesh is scraped with a knife. This slurry is applied to the burnt area of the epidermis. The product is left for several hours, and then washed off under running water. The procedure is periodically repeated several times during the day.
- For minor burns, resort to the use of baths based on aloe juice. For these purposes, about 50 grams of pulp plants are diluted in 5 liters of warm water. Beeswax
A good tool that allows you to relieve suffering from a burn at home in a fairly short time is an ointment prepared on the basis of beeswax. The medicine is prepared according to the following recipe. Take a handful of chopped beeswax. Raw materials are combined with several tablespoons of vegetable oil. The mixture is placed in a small saucepan and placed on the stove. Heating is performed until the beeswax has completely dissolved. Then the medicine is cooled to room temperature.
