Christophe Dugarry was born on March 24, 1972 and ended up at the Bordeaux Club Academy at a fairly early age. At the age of 18, he signed a professional contract with this team, but began to speak on a regular basis far from immediately. In the first two seasons, he played only two matches, after which at the age of 21 he got a place at the base - he spent 38 matches for his club, but was able to score only four goals. That season was a failure not only for Christophe, but for the entire club - Bordeaux flew into the second division, and the players had to do their best to return to the big leagues. They succeeded, and until 1996, Christophe Dugarry spent four more seasons at Bordeaux as the main striker and attracted the attention of the world's leading clubs. The most efficient was the Italian “Milan”, which signed a 24-year-old striker for six and a half million euros.
Going to Milan
However, in Milan, Christophe Dugarry, whose photos began to appear in all football magazines, unfortunately, did not play - he could not show the same performance that he was famous for playing for Bordeaux, so after only a year he was sold to Barcelona "For four million.

New heyday at Marseille
In the two years spent in Marseille, the 26-year-old striker was able to regain its former glory and begin to score enough goals to attract public attention again. Of course, he came from Barcelona as the winner of the Spanish Championship, but in Marseilles he began to play much more impressive, even if he could not win a single trophy.
Return to Bordeaux
In the winter of 2000, the "return of the prodigal son" happened - Christophe Dugarry returned to his native club for six million euros. There he quickly regained his place at the base and began to score beautiful and impressive, and most importantly - useful goals. Largely with his help Bordeaux won the French League Cup in 2002. However, Christophe was thirty years old, and he was not as young as before. Therefore, in the winter of 2003, he went on a six-month lease to the English Birmingham.
Retirement
After completing the lease at Birmingham, Dugarry was left without a club, until in 2004 he signed a one-year contract with the Qatar club Qatar. Dugarry made his French debut in 1994 at the age of 22 in a friendly match against Slovenia.
