Oleg Pashinin was born on September 12, 1974 in the village of Degtyanka of the Tambov Region. He showed his first successes at the regional level, when it became clear that he could achieve a lot in this sport, he moved to Moscow, to the system of the capital's Lokomotiv.

During his coaching career, he also worked with the Grozny “Terek”, the Khimki near Moscow, the youth team of the capital's “Locomotive”. However, everywhere he held the positions of assistant head coach.

Only in August 2016, after the resignation of Igor Cherevchenko from the post of mentor of the “railroad”, did he act as head coach for a short time. So far, Yuri Semin has not returned to the team.
