History
Garage is a drink invented and created by the Karlberg Group Corporation. He appeared in Russia recently, in 2014. Under the Seth & Riley's brand, Baltika is supplying it to the market.
The distinctive features of this drink are associated not only with the composition and taste. The packaging is also unusual - a glass bottle with a capacity of 0.44 ml.
Garage - hard-drink
Some confuse the Garage with fruit beers. However, despite the strength comparable to beer, this drink is not at all. It does not apply to wine, and to taste it is not so similar. Many experts note that the Garage is a drink, reviews of which often indicate its similarity to beer. However, it is allocated in a separate group - “hard-drink”, that is, heavy drinks, drinks with a degree.
In total, two varieties of "Garage" are presented on the Russian market: with the taste of lemon and with the taste of tea with lemon. Both varieties have a strength of 4.6%. Fans of citrus flavors note that in these drinks there is no sugary taste of sweetened water. Light sourness, fresh citrus aroma - these are the main dominants of taste.
Composition
"Garage" - a drink that, although not brewed according to classic beer recipes, but still contains a small amount of malt extract. This gives the taste an interesting shade. Most likely, it is the malt flavor that causes associations with beer. Present in the composition and a certain amount of hop products. It was to them that the Garage owes its fortress.
The recipe is based on purified water, the natural softness of which makes the final product soft.
To regulate the level of acidity, citric and ascorbic acid are used.
Serving Recommendations
Like most other alcoholic drinks, the Garage is best drunk chilled. You can simply put the bottles in the refrigerator beforehand, or you can put the ice in glasses. The optimum temperature is 10 o C.
Some lovers of this drink are advised to serve fruit chips, such as banana or pineapple. The combination of dried exotic fruits and lemon sourness with a degree is what you need for the summer!
