Daniel Carvalho is a football player with the status of the only foreigner who managed to become the best player in the championship of Russia. He is one of the most talented attacking midfielders in the domestic championship in the recent history of the tournament.
early years
Daniel Carvalho was born in the small Brazilian town of Pelotas. Like millions of other kids from this country, since childhood he dreamed of a career as a professional football player.
The athlete’s obvious inclinations allow Daniel to be at the football school of the Internacional club at the age of 13, the academy of which is still considered the best in the Latin American region.
The player managed to debut for the main team in 2001. At the end of the same season, Daniel Carvalho wins the championship with his teammates. Over the next two years, the midfielder is trusted with a place in the composition of 31 times.
In 2004, the Internacional club faced serious financial problems. Finding themselves on the verge of bankruptcy, the leadership of the team decides to put the talented player on the transfer, despite his status as one of the leading players in the team. Soon, domestic fans will learn a new name - Daniel Carvalho. “CSKA” manages to emerge victorious from a real struggle that flared up for a young talent among European clubs.
Performances in the Russian championship
Daniel Carvalho debuts at CSKA on March 7, 2004. The first match in the status of a player of the “army” for the Brazilian footballer is a duel against Spartak for the country's Super Bowl. Despite the lack of adaptation in the new team, Daniel Carvalho immediately celebrated the winning ball in this meeting.
At the beginning of his debut season in the Russian championship, a football player suffers a difficult injury, which forces him to “warm up” the bench throughout the year, periodically going for rehabilitation to various medical institutions.
Daniel Carvalho returns to the game only in the 2005/2006 season. During a few matches in the first team, the young attacking midfielder becomes one of the leaders of the Moscow team. Thanks to the player’s successful actions in the attacking and constructive line of the team, CSKA soon succeeds in defeating a number of strong clubs in the UEFA Cup and obtaining an honorable European trophy. In the same season, the team wins the championship race with Lokomotiv and Spartak in the national championship.
In early 2007, Daniel Carvalho decides to extend the contract with the “army” for 2 years. However, already in the next season it will be leased in its historical homeland, signing a contract with its first professional club, Internacional. After the expiration of the agreement, the player returns to the Moscow team. But during this time, another talented midfielder, Alan Dzagoev, firmly consolidates his position.
Return to Brazil
In the 2010/2011 season, print publications regularly appear on the possible continuation of Carvalho's career in the Qatar championship. However, the information is nothing more than rumors. Daniel himself decides to return to his homeland, accepting the offer of the Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro.
In 2012, the midfielder signs an agreement with the leadership of the Palmeiras team. However, at the end of the season, the club flies to the league with a lower rank. Carvalho’s expensive contract becomes unbearable for the team. Therefore, the club urgently refuses the services of a football player and breaks the cooperation deal in advance.
The last team in professional football for Daniel is the Italian club Kisuma, which entered Serie A at the beginning of the 2013/2014 season. Here, the player is delayed no more than six months, followed by the next early termination of the agreement.
Futsal career
Where does Daniel Carvalho play? According to the Brazilian media, the player decided to switch to indoor soccer. As it became known, today the former CSKA midfielder stands for the Pelotas club from the home state of Rio Grande. Probably, the reason for the transition to futsal was the constant injuries and difficulties with the set of necessary physical conditions, which the player repeatedly complained about during his career in sports.
Football talent
At the peak of his career, Daniel Carvalho had the optimal ratio of growth (178 cm) and weight (79 kg), which made him an excellent high-speed footballer. The player showed the ability to play equally equally in a variety of positions, whether it be the center line of the field or the point of attack.
Like any talented football player from Latin America, Daniel Carvalho was able at any time to demonstrate the technique perfected to perfection, and also beat the opponent, relying on effective dribbling. The midfielder did not disdain playing the pass, which made him one of the main point guards at the CSKA club.
