Staff development, types of staff training.

One of the main conditions for the development of a company, increasing its prestige in the market and increasing competitiveness is high-quality corporate knowledge, which should be constantly improved and improved. Personnel training is aimed at matching the knowledge and skills of employees with the required level of production, and increasing the professional level of employees.

Types of staff training can be as follows:

1. Professional training. It can be primary, secondary and higher and, accordingly, its duration can be from 1 year to 6 years. Initial training is aimed at obtaining a working profession in vocational schools. Higher education is the training of high-level specialists and qualifications, in-depth and high-quality education. Upon completion of training, a document on education (diploma, certificate) is issued on hand.

2. Further education. In the presence of certain professional training, an employee can improve his qualifications in professional courses, specialized faculties, and business institutes. The training time can be from 1 day to six months. Given that science, economics and technology do not stand still, but are constantly evolving, previously acquired knowledge is becoming obsolete. All types of personnel training are attractive in their own way for employees and personnel services, but professional development occupies a special place among them for several reasons: - this is a fairly cheap and fast way of training, in comparison with professional training; - a narrow circle of training modules and a specific target focus of training.

3. Retraining of personnel . This type of training involves obtaining a new profession or a second specialty. Sometimes there is an overabundance or shortage of specialists of a certain specialty, it is then that a second working profession is required for employees. Typically, this type of training is in demand in employment centers, where people come after a reduction from their previous job. Duration of study: from six months to 2 years.

4. Postgraduate professional education includes obtaining the highest scientific or professional qualifications (postgraduate and doctoral studies). Duration of study: from 2 to 4 years. It is not necessary to include all types of staff training in a continuing education plan; one or two will suffice.

Stages of training company staff.

There is a certain procedure for training employees of an enterprise or company, which you must adhere to:

1. Conducting an introductory course lasting from 8 to 16 hours for newly hired employees. In these courses, regulatory documents, the structure of the company, principles and main areas of work are studied. Based on the results of training, a test is taken, which serves as the result of a trial period;

2. Managers and specialists appointed to a new position, transferred to another position, take a training course with a separation from work for a quality introduction to the position (from 24 to 32 hours);

3. All heads of the structural divisions of the company from time to time should undergo training in the relevant programs established by the leadership (courses, seminars, trainings);

4. Employees of mass professions must undergo annual training in continuing education courses;

5. When introducing a new regulatory document or instructions related to their performance of duties, all employees must undergo mandatory training. Any other types of staff training should be included in the annual staff development plan and agreed with management. Due to the fact that the improvement of the personnel training system is permanent, it is necessary to include new methods for increasing the level of professional qualities of employees in this plan.
