Dmitry Kuznetsov was born in Moscow on August 28, 1965. He is a Russian and Soviet footballer who could play both as a defender and as a midfielder. Dmitry is also a master of sports of the USSR. At the moment, he is a good coach, leading Kazan “Ruby” since 2014. Well, it is worth talking about him and his achievements in more detail.
About club career
Dmitry Kuznetsov, like most Soviet boys, played football in the yard from an early age (from 7 years old, to be more precise) - chased the ball with other guys. But at age 11, his passion grew into something more. He went to the Luzhniki section. And his brothers, Yuri and Nikolai Savichev, made up the company to him. He went to school with them. No one could have thought that then these guys would become seven-time champions of the Russian capital. In 1982-1983, they played for the school. Only not in the first league, but in the second. In 1984, Dmitry Kuznetsov was in the second team of PFC CSKA. But there he did not last long. And it's not that Dmitry played poorly. Not at all. He played two matches there, after which the head coach, Yuri Morozov, looked at his capabilities and transferred to the main team. This became a new level in Kuznetsov’s career.
Future prospects
Dmitry Kuznetsov showed an excellent game. Because they became seriously interested in such teams as “Everton”, “Blackburn”, “Verona”, and he did not lose his chance. In 1992, he moved to Espanyol, moving to Spain. There, by the way, the former “army men" were already playing at that time. In the first match he scored a goal. Then “Espanyol” played against FC “Oviedo”. Moreover, he played with a fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone, which really did not heal to the end. This did not hurt him, which once again shows the level of skill and responsibility of the football player.
Then Dmitry began to play for CSKA again, since an agent of FC Espanyol, it turned out, stole part of the money and gave only 200 thousand instead of a million to the representatives of the army team. It is not known how this was destined to happen, but Kuznetsov had to play 7 matches in CSKA, where he scored 5 goals.
In 1995, he played for Lerida, then in Alaves, and then in Osasuna. In 1997, he still returned to his homeland, in CSKA. He also managed to try his hand at Arsenal (Tula), being rented, and at Lokomotiv. Saratov “Falcon”, Moscow “Torpedo-ZIL”, Astrakhan “Volgar-Gazprom” - in all these teams Dmitry Kuznetsov, whose photo is presented on the page, managed to play. And, of course, he also played for the national team (USSR, CIS and Russian), with which he participated in the 1992 European Championship and 1994 World Cup.
Coaching
Dmitry Kuznetsov, whose biography abounds with interesting facts, began coaching activities in 2004. He “started” with the mini-football team “Norilsk Nickel” and the Chelyabinsk “Spartak” in 2005. Since 2007 he coached “Nizhny Novgorod”. Today, Dmitry is the head coach of Rubin.
Kuznetsov has a lot of achievements. He is the champion of the USSR in 1991, the owner of the USSR Cup of the 1990/1991 season, the winner of the first division of the championship of Russia in 2000. In the major league of the championship of the USSR he played a hundred matches and scored 18 goals. And in the first - he entered the field 151 times and scored 25 goals against opponents. In the Spanish Example, Dmitry played 49 matches and scored 4 goals there.
