Learning to put a trap on a beaver

More and more hunters are trying to come up with new traps in order to catch decent prey. But they are not so cheap, and given the fact that 50% of them disappear, hunters cautiously buy traps. Of course, they can be hidden, but this does not guarantee that another hunter will not find them. A trap should be placed on a beaver very carefully, well masking and confusing traces. By setting such traps, you should pay attention to the peg to which they are attached.

After all, it is he who can give out the location of the trap. Therefore, instead of a peg, you can use a float, but one that could hold both a trap and a beaver. In addition, you should tie it to the shore, since a strong current is possible and then you will not find prey (it is best to use a strong cord that will be invisible in the water). Sometimes, going up to the shore, you can see that your float is not far from the shore and few people will guess that there is a trap with a beaver. Just pull the cord and pull out your prey. The trap on the beaver is installed in different ways, but the main thing is the correct disguise. Traps are made of special steel and must not break. The trap on the beaver resembles traps for otters, muskrats and raccoons. They are made of approximately the same material and are effective helpers to hunters.

badger hunting traps
The hunting of a badger with traps is considered quite popular. Very often traps are set right next to the hole, so that, leaving it, the badger falls into the trap. The bait is meat that is placed near the trap. The choice of trap should be taken very seriously: it should be strong, frame and double-spring. This kind of hunting requires high-quality camouflage and processing. Traps should be installed on the slope of the mountains, at the entrance to the hole, on the paths along which the badger may walk, and, of course, in places of the "toilet" (a hundred meters from the animal’s hole). Badgers by nature are very clean animals, in addition, they are attentive and can unravel your disguise, in which case they will change their usual places and paths to others. An animal can bury a trap or even dig it out.

Very often hunters grab badgers near their “toilet”: this is a permanent place that can be easily seen: a dug hole 10 cm deep and 25 cm in diameter. In such cases, traps should be set along the way to the coveted place. A wise hunter knows that, falling into one trap, the animal in a panic starts to rush in different directions, so there should be another trap nearby. As a result, the badger will not be able to escape anywhere, he will be in a hopeless situation.

hunting with traps

Hunting with traps should be carefully thought out and calculated. Having made one mistake, you can be left without prey. Whether you put a trap on a beaver or a badger does not matter, the main thing is the correct tactics, bait and disguise. Therefore, before hunting, find out how the animal lives, what it eats and which paths it walks, and only then fully hunted and begin hunting. Animals have become even smarter, they can easily smell objects that appear or fresh tracks, so you need to do everything carefully and without rushing.
