Own green kindergarten - these words warm the soul of any summer resident, even if it’s potential, that is, a person who just felt a craving for the earth. Flowers on a flower bed, a lilac bush and several trees - what is not a dream. And if you still break the beds in the country - here it is the land-nurse. Anyone who has planted vegetables or berries himself at least once knows firsthand that no store-bought goods can be compared to a hand-grown crop. On the environmental side of the issue, you can not talk.
But there is also an aesthetic, design side: how to arrange the beds in the country, not only taking into account the benefits, but also beauty, and rationality. A few tips from a knowledgeable person will not hurt.
Most important is soil quality.
Before you fence the beds in the country with your own hands, you need to think about the land. If the soil is heavy, clay or rocky, you will have to tinker with it: dig it, choose stones. Loam requires the introduction of coarse river sand, peat, humus or ready-mixed earthenware from the store. In a word, the soil for any garden bed in the country should be light and clean, and crops should be placed in well-lit places where there is no stagnation of rainwater.
Sizes and shapes of beds

Round berry bed
This is a relatively new invention of summer residents - a berry flower bed. Imagine several tiers of strawberry seedlings strewn with bright berries! Making such a luxury is very simple. In stores for gardeners and gardeners sell plastic corrugated rolls just for the sides on the beds. For a berry bed in the country, it is better to take the material of green color - it looks more natural - 30 cm high. For the base, a circle with a diameter of at least 1.5 m is made from this plastic. The circle is filled with earth (soil quality has been mentioned above). Then, a second circle is set inside with an indent from the side of about 18-20 cm. And then - the following circles of smaller diameter. 3-5 tiers are enough. And now it remains to plant strawberries around the perimeter at all levels, water abundantly - and wait for the harvest. It is necessary to choose repairing varieties that give several crops per season, so that there is no depressing sight of a withered flower bed. In addition, this method will be able to keep strawberries within certain limits - because it grows and strives to occupy the entire garden.
