Russian defender of the Tula “Arsenal” Maxim Belyaev is considered one of the promising young players in the championship. Behind the 25-year-old football player there is already a wealth of experience that can be useful to any Premier League club.
First steps in football
Belyaev Maxim Alexandrovich was born on September 30, 1991 in the city of Ozyory, Moscow Region. The first football school of the defender was Moscow “Spartak”, where at the age of 13 he was forced to leave due to a relationship with a coach. The new home for the player was another metropolitan club - “Locomotive”.
Career at Lokomotiv
At the age of 16, a young football player began to play for the double of the “railroad”, and a year and a half later he made his debut as the basis of Muscovites. In the framework of the Russian championship in the match against Perm “Amkar” Maxim Belyaev came on as a substitute after playing almost 40 minutes. The following season, the coaching staff gave the player a little more playing time, using him in 10 meetings. Maxim played all these matches completely, and in December 2012 in a derby with the capital Dynamo Belyaev added the first goal for Lokomotiv to his piggy bank, opening an account in a game that ended in a draw - 2: 2. However, not being able to really gain a foothold in the base due to the lack of experience, the defender spent the entire 2011 on the road, speaking on loan on a Bryansk “Dynamo” and Vladimir “Torpedo”, where he showed a very mature football.
In 2012, the head coach of “Locomotive” Jose Couceiro drew attention to a number of students of the club, including Maxim Belyaev. The defender, who continued to progress, went to the training camp with the base and seriously hoped to gain a foothold in the composition, but due to the departure of the Portuguese specialist in the 2012/2013 season, he only once entered the field in the Cup and Russian Championship. In January 2013, the club decided to rent the player to “Rostov”, where the young player was entrusted with a place at the end of the championship, and after playing 7 matches, Maxim Belyaev returned to Lokomotiv, but did not renew the contract ending with the team.
Parish in "Shinnik"
Having become a free agent after the expiration of the contract with Lokomotiv, Maxim Belyaev, a football player aiming at continuous development, agreed to a demotion in the league, becoming a player in the Yaroslavl “Shinnik” for six months. In Yaroslavl, the defender turned up very on time - the team needed a new defense player, and from the first days in the new club, the Russians staked out a place in the starting lineup. For half a season in the composition of the “bears” Belyaev twice played in the Cup of Russia, having played them all, and also took part in 16 meetings of the championship. Due to a minor injury, the end of the season, starting in November, the player spent outside the football field.
Tula success
In February 2016, Maxim Belyaev signed a contract with Tula Arsenal, moving to a new team as a free agent. Speaking in the Football National League, the club needed to strengthen the ranks of the defense, and a talented young defender came up to him perfectly. As a result, Maxim immediately entrenched in the basis of the Tula players, taking part in 14 games of that season, noting an assist in the match against Nizhny Novgorod “Volga”, which helped to win a difficult away victory - 1: 2, as well as an accurate shot into the goal of the Irkutsk “Baikal” , having issued a beautiful Victoria at the end of the championship - 0: 2.

A successful performance in the FNL allowed Arsenal to return to the Russian Premier League, and despite the increase, Maxim Belyaev was not lost on the football field, retaining a place at the base. As a result, by the winter break, the defender counted 1 match in the Cup of the country, as well as 14 games in the championship, where in the last round before the break the player marked another goal into the goal of “Anji”, which brought the Tula players a home win in the match - 1: 0 . Now Maxim conducts training at Arsenal and does not think about changing the team, wanting to continue his development in order to get on the pencil of the head coach of the national team, which, given the striving and talent of the striker, is quite possible in the near future.
Participation in national team games
For the career that has just begun, Maxim Belyaev has played for the national team, though so far only youth and youth. As part of the youths, the Russian played in 9 meetings, showing his strengths, and in 2012 the defender began to be involved in the training of the youth team, and under the leadership of Nikolai Pisarev, in his first year in the Russian team, he played in 6 European Championship qualifying matches and one friendly.
A year later, the footballer marked three more appearances on the field as part of the continental championship. Maxim later fell into the extended list of the main national team, but so far has not taken part in games and training camps. But the young defender is now only 25 years old, he still has all chances to fulfill his dream.
