Mateo Kovacic is a Croatian midfielder born in Austria on May 6, 1994. At the moment, the football player stands for the club, considered one of the best in the world and promising for any player - in Real Madrid. early years
Mateo Kovacic was born in a family of Croats of Bosnian descent. In 1991, his parents moved to Austria, and three years later the future famous football player was born. He began to play very early, and he began to study football art in a Lintz team called “LASK”. He spent seven years there. But already at the age of 13, the young midfielder was in the sphere of interests of such clubs as Ajax, Stuttgart, Juventus and Bayern. However, Mateo failed to pursue a career in one of these famous clubs, as his parents decided to move to Zagreb. So the midfielder had to continue his football activities there, in FC Dynamo. It was here that he felt the taste of professional sports: the guy first entered the field as part of the champion of Croatia. It was in 2010 year. Then he scored his very first goal. He scored it against the opponents at the age of 16! So this football player became the youngest goal scorer in the entire history of the Croatian League.
Relocation to Italy

There he wailed himself to the tenth number, which used to belong to such a famous football player as Wesley Sneijder. On January 31, a contract was signed, and on February 3 he made his debut in the game against Siena. Then he replaced in the second half Eskiel Skelotto. Real Madrid and the national team
Mateo Kovacic is a soccer player who instantly attracts the attention of professionals. When he was not even 21 years old, he became interested in Real Madrid. The club made an offer to the Croat to join them and, of course, he agreed, considering it an invaluable experience. Mateo Kovacic was acquired for a substantial amount (for such a young football player). The Spaniards gave him 35 million euros. And already on August 23, the Croat entered the field as part of the new club. It was a match held within the framework of La Liga. Then “Madrid” played with Gijon “Sporting”. Kovacic was released instead of Isco in the second half.
In the national teams Mateo played a lot - at different ages. In 2008, he entered the field as a member of the national team until the age of 15.
