Methods

Casting of iron into cold-hardening mixtures is one of the modern technologies. This solution assumes that the molds are made from a mixture that includes binders, such as resins. An advantage of a mold made from such a mixture is increased tightness. Due to this, the possibility is excluded that during production the integrity of the product structure will be violated.

Sand casting is also popular. This technology uses sand that has been compacted. This method is suitable for serial production of large parts, for example, turbine blades or large parts of other mechanisms.

Currently, iron casting is undergoing active development. New production techniques have been successfully introduced into the technological field.
