Lenovo has firmly established one of the leading places in the IT industry market. She confidently begins to replace competitors in a large number of areas. The tablet market for Android OS is no exception, where Lenovo is also increasing the number of its gadgets.
In 2013, at the MWC exhibition, the company exhibited three brand new gadgets, one of which is the hero of our review - the Lenovo S6000 tablet. Its characteristics can not be called "top-end", but as for a state employee they are pretty good.
Specifications
Lenovo's tablet model IdeaPad S6000 positions itself primarily as a light and very convenient device that is designed to perform a wide variety of multimedia tasks. Their range is expanding significantly thanks to a capacious battery and the presence of a 3G module. Let's take a look at the technical characteristics of this miracle.

Judging by the technical characteristics, the Lenovo S600 tablet has almost characteristic indicators for budget models. The only thing that makes it stand out is the presence of a very powerful battery that extends the tabletβs battery life for several days. But more on that later.
Equipment
The Lenovo S6000 tablet comes in a compact cardboard box. Having removed the cover, you can see the modestly lying gadget with the charger under it, an adapter, a USB cable and instructions for use. But users have the opportunity to buy an additional keyboard, HDMI cable and various adapters.
Appearance
Upon first inspection, the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 tablet makes a good impression. The beautiful black front side looks very impressive. The back side has a grayer shade, but also causes only positive emotions.
Clearly in the center, on top of the screen, is the front camera, and below is the inscription Lenovo. Unfortunately, the glass on the front does not have an oleophobic coating and for this reason it gets dirty very quickly. A fairly wide border around the sensor minimizes the chance of accidentally clicking on it while holding it with one hand. There is nothing superfluous on the back panel. Only a 5 megapixel camera is located next to the left speaker.
At the top (if you hold the tablet horizontally) are: a power-lock button and a microphone. The right edge and bottom are completely exempted from any buttons and exits. On the left are: a volume control button in the form of a rocking chair, USB and HDMI outputs, a headphone jack and a dummy, upon opening which you can notice two SIM slots and a memory card.
Display
The Lenovo S6000 tablet has a rather bright colorful display. And although its performance is already a little outdated, in some cases the impression is full of Full HD. But the screen here is made using an outdated version of the WXGA IPS-matrix with a resolution value of 1280x800 pixels.
The color rendering is pretty nice and the viewing angle is very large. The only thing is the presence of prints on the glass, which are visible precisely when the tablet is tilted, due to the lack of oleophobic coating. But these are trifles, since in their price category it is still very good.
Cameras
Tablets of the highest price categories, unlike state employees, are most often equipped with two cameras. But this does not apply to Lenovo S 6000. Reviews about it almost always begin with admiration for the presence of two video recorders of acceptable quality.
The main camera has a 5 megapixel sensor. Use it to take good pictures. But the main condition is the availability of good lighting. There is no flash, in case of cloudy weather, various noises appear on the video and photos. The front camera of 0.3 megapixels can not be taken much and you can not do a selfie, since the image is disgusting. But it is also intended for video communication, for which it is quite enough. For this reason, we will not focus on it.
Performance
The hardware of the Lenovo S6000 tablet is based on the fairly popular MediaTek processor model MT8389. It has 4 cores with a clock frequency of each up to 1200 MHz. These parameters are enough to run not very "heavy" games and applications. In addition, 1 GB of RAM will allow you to quickly respond to actions.
It has a Lenovo S6000 3G tablet module and 16 GB memory. This is enough to store a couple of seasons of your favorite series and music library. About 5 GB is allocated to the system itself. By turning on all modules, surfing the Internet or editing documents, you can not observe the slowdowns. The graphics core of the PowerVR SGX544 is not so strong as to βpullβ colorful 3D games without problems, and frame freezes very often. This is unpleasant, but can be solved by using applications on smaller parameters.
Battery
About the battery, the Lenovo S 6000 tablet has the best reviews. All this thanks to a capacity of 6300 mAh. Tests have shown that with moderate use of the gadget it is enough for battery life for several days.
Watching HD-movies online (via Wi-Fi connection) and lowering the brightness to average parameters, users note the battery survivability in the form of 11 hours of continuous operation. Agree, for a tablet with a ten-inch screen, which relates to the budget option, this figure is very high. After the battery is completely discharged to its 100% filling, only 3 hours pass.
