In our wonderful capital, buildings unique in their grandeur and functionality appear every year. One of them can be safely called the Amber Sports Palace in Strogino. Outside, this complex attracts the eye with the harmony of lines and the beauty of the design, while inside it amazes the mind with well-thought-out layouts and rich infrastructure. It seems that absolutely everything is provided here so that young and adult athletes, pros and beginners, girls and boys can comfortably engage in their favorite hobby, improve their skills, and sports fans have the opportunity to observe the progress of the competitions.
Location
As noted above, the new Sports Palace is located in Strogino. Muscovites are well aware of its location. We will explain to the guests of the capital that Strogino is a district of the capital located in the North-West Administrative District, near the Moscow Ring Road, on the right bank of the Moskva River, which can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. Even closer are the Big and Small Stroginsky backwaters. The address of the Yantar Sports Palace is: Moscow, Marshal Katukov Street, building No. 22 (just at its intersection with Tallinn Street).
It is 250 meters from the Yantar stadium, accommodating 2,000 spectators, 750 meters from the Strogino district administration and about 950 meters from the metro station of the same name located on Stroginsky Boulevard. Within a radius of 3000 meters from the sports complex there are three other metro stations - Spartak, Tushinskaya, Myakinino.
How to get there
To the Sports Palace "Amber" on the street. Marshal Katukov, 22 by public transport can be reached by several routes:
- From the metro station "Strogino" it will not be difficult to walk. You need to move along the boulevard towards the Stroginsky backwater.
- By public transport you can also reach the Palace from the Schukinskaya metro station. There you need to catch any bus No. 640, 687 and 137 or minibuses No. 584, 210m, 357m and 277m. You need to get out at the Isakovsky 33 stop.
- From Schukinskaya to the sports complex you can also get on trams No. 30, 15, 21 and 10.
- By car, the drive to the Palace is convenient in that it is located near the Moscow Ring Road. It is best to turn off the ring road onto Tallinn Street, which will lead to the Sports Palace building. Visitors can leave the car in the underground parking or at the surface parking lot.

The Yantar Sports Palace in Moscow was commissioned in 2010. Its architectural design and constructive solutions are, without exaggeration, unique. The area of the complex, together with all its facilities, is 34,000 m 2 , that is, almost 3.5 hectares.
The Sports Palace was built using Scandinavian and Canadian technologies. Glued wooden trusses are installed in the ceilings of the arenas . In this case, the span length was 48 m. Today, such a design is the only one in Russia.
It is noteworthy that during the construction of the Sports Palace a recovery technology was introduced. It means that the heat generated by the chillers is supplied to heat the water in showers and pools. For facilities of this scale, recovery was used for the first time.

Training in the ability to stand on skates and move on them is carried out on a special simulator. If the child likes the training and enters the group, you will have to pay from 1,500 rubles per hour. If you wish, you can sign up for training for the famous hockey player Alexander Kharitonov.
In the Yantar Sports Palace, the famous Elena Tchaikovskaya reigns on the ice arena for skaters , who organized her school, Tchaikovsky's Horse, here. Children from three and a half years old are accepted here. They are taught the basics of figure skating, conduct lessons with them choreography and general physical training. Pools

The pool for children of this age has a length of 16 meters, a width of 8 meters, and a depth of 60 to 90 cm. This structure is very beautifully designed. It is intended not only for teaching kids to swim, but also for their entertainment. For this purpose, children's water slides, a waterfall with a geyser, and a "slow river" were built in the pool.
Water in both pools is purified by the methods of ozonation, mechanical filtration, and chlorination. For admission to classes, both adults and children, including infants older than 2 months, must have medical certificates. You can visit the pool by buying a subscription. Its cost varies from the type of occupation and the number of workouts per week.
Sport halls
A convenient and comfortable sports hall was built in the Yantar Sports Palace. Its dimensions are 24 x 42 meters, which allows not only to conduct mini-football, volleyball, basketball, handball training, but also competitions of any level, for which there are equipped with an electronic scoreboard, sound support, and also stands built for 400 spectators .
In addition to training in game sports, the Palace has a gym for athletics. Its size is almost 250 m 2 . It features circular treadmills with a high-tech coating, sectors for long and high jumps. In addition, the palace has halls for wrestling (250 m 2 ), gymnastics (120 m 2 ) and choreography (250 m 2 ). The groups accept children from 3 years old and adults (over 16 years old).
For kids, football, gymnastics, wrestling, acrobatics are available here. For adults, classes in yoga, hand-to-hand combat, Thai boxing, aerial gymnastics on the rings, as well as training in some types of dances, such as capoeira, salsa, bachata, were added.
There are excellent conditions for fitness at the Amber Sports Palace. The gym occupies an area of 340 m 2 . It has modern sports equipment that allows you to train any muscle group. For visitors equipped locker rooms with individual lockers and showers. Classes in the fitness room are organized group and individual (optional). It is allowed for people over 18 to practice without a trainer. A fitness room is open from 7 am to 11 pm.
