By tradition, as soon as the snow falls, pupils, students, employees of various organizations voluntarily and forcefully go out to fight garbage. Have you heard of the Green Russia subbotnik - the most massive environmental project in recent Russian history? Not yet? Then let's get to know him better. What is it?
What makes Green Russia an environmental cleanup so special? Firstly, the number of participants - all of Russia, from Salekhard to Kaliningrad, takes part in this project. Secondly, the time. If we are accustomed to expect a hike on a community work day in spring, then the Green Russia event will take place in the fall. This is all Saturday of September. The third feature is voluntariness. You can call friends, colleagues, relatives with you. But that depressing “obligation” is not here.
And, finally, the most pleasant, fourth feature - of course, awards and prizes. Subbotnik Green Russia is a modern and fashionable action. Participants share their impressions of participation in social networks, attach photos and videos of their own achievements. And on the basis of this, the organizers single out the winner, who is awarded the Ecological Oscar.
In addition to this lucky winner, other winners will also be selected who will not be left without prizes at the ceremonial presentation of the main award in December. In particular, the following contests were organized:
