In French, verbs have different conjugations. There are three groups. The first conjugation includes verbs with the ending: -er, the second: -ir, the third: -re, -oir, -ir and the verb aller. 90% of the verbs that are used in ordinary French speech belong to the first conjugation. The correct verb travailler, the conjugation of which is the first, changes according to certain rules, like all verbs of this group.
The verb travailler is an infinitive, the equivalent of Russian verbs ending in -t. Translation: work.
Present
Remember the structure of the verb in the present is necessary:
Je travaille | Nous travaillons |
Tu travailles | Voes travaillez |
Ill / Elle travaille | Ils / Elles travaillent |
As you can easily see, the verb with pronouns I, you, he / she pronounce, they are the same. The pronoun Ils / Elles (they) in French is divided into two types: masculine and feminine. A mixed gender is applied to a mixed company.
The question is asked with the help of intonation or the interrogative word Est-ce que + the positive form of the verb.
Denial in the present tense is constructed according to the formula:
noun + ne + verb + pas.
Past time
The simple past tense is built using the verb to have - avoir. In this case, the ending -s before the vowel will be read. Now consider the conjugation of the verb travailler in the past tense. To form it, add the verb of the first group with the ending -é to the forms of the verb avoir:
J'ai travaillé | Nous avons travaillé |
T'as travaillé | Vous avez travaillé |
Il / Elle a travaillé | Ils / Elles ont travaillé |
An emphasis on the letter "e" indicates that it will be read at the end.
Negation is also built on the structure: noun. + ne + avoir in the right form + pas + verb.
Future
The future tense form is built using the verb walk - aller. The ending in the pronouns -s will also be read. To get the conjugation of the travailler in the future tense, you need to add the infinitive of the verb of the first conjugation to the aller form.
Je vais travailler | Nous allons travailler |
Tu vas travailler | Vous avez travailler |
Il / Elle va travailler | Ils / Elles vont travailler |
Negation is built according to the formula: noun. + ne + aller in the right form + pas + infinitive of the verb.
These formulas are suitable for all verbs of the first conjugation. We suggest you practice yourself using the verbs shown in the picture.
