Alexander Solodovnikov: Russian poet

The silver age of Russian poetry spans about thirty years. Accuracy up to a year is impossible to establish. But over such such a short period of time, a huge number of Russian poets, β€œword artists,” who have advanced the poetry of their country to a new level, worked in Russia.

Many directions were created. Similar in spirit poets had their own abode, which caused such a variety of rhymes and words manifesting art. One of those creators who made the Silver Age was Alexander Solodovnik (Solodovnikov). Compared to his colleagues, he was not so popular, but he was an integral part of the creative society of his century.

The years of the poet's life - 1893-1974. Alexander Solodovnik was born on June 24. Father is a teacher and legal consultant. There were famous merchants in the mother’s pedigree. Grandfather had his own pastry shop.

After graduating from school with a gold medal, he continued to receive education at Moscow State University, at the Faculty of Law, and in December 1916 he successfully completed it. A brilliant career awaited him, but because of the outbreak of World War I, he was drafted into the army. At the Kiev Artillery School, Alexander Solodovnik served as an ensign until 1918.

In the early years, a craving for poetry appeared. He was interested in A.S. Pushkin, A.A. Fet, and F.I. Tyutchev. In January 1918, after being demobilized from the army, the poet returned to Moscow, where he was writing a Ph.D. thesis for Moscow University. Since 1919, over the course of twenty years, the poet has been arrested for six months. Due to the fact that the charges were always fictitious, he was released into the wild. During this time, he sat in Butyrka prison, and also engaged in forced labor in Saratov. After his release, the poet works as an accountant and joins the All-Russian Union of Poets. In 1939, after another arrest, Alexander Solodovnik was sent to the Magadan Region, where he was forced to do heavy physical work.

After 7 years, in 1946, Solodovnikov remained forced to live in Lower Seymchan. In 1956 he returned to Moscow. After moving to his hometown, he takes a job as a music teacher in a kindergarten. He does not forget about his work and writes poetry for children.

In 1974, Alexander Solodovnikov dies of a stroke.

Personal life

By the age of 30, the poet decides to marry. His chosen one becomes Pautynskaya Nina Stanislavovna. Two years after marriage, the couple gives birth to a daughter, Marina, and in 1926, their son Sergei. But in the winter of next year, the poet’s three-month-old son falls ill and dies of pneumonia. At the age of 8, daughter Marina dies.

Creation

Poems by Alexander Solodovnikov can be divided into two main categories: on the theme of Christianity and children's poems. The poet was a religious person, and also loved children very much, therefore he paid more attention to these topics.

He had contracts with the publishing house of Merimanov for the publication of such works as: "Children", "Teddy Bear and Football Player", "Pets" and others. Peru Solodovnikova owns the collection "I will not tire of praising God ...", as well as the essay "Treasures of the Vvedensky mountains."
