Whether this game developed by itself or it was specially invented, one can only speculate. But references to the ball game are found in China, Japan, and even in Australia. And most importantly, his confidence in himself and his abilities. Moreover, it is not necessary to be better, stronger or faster than someone. It is important to have an instant reaction, the ability to maintain the presence of mind even in the most difficult and hopeless episodes of the game. Talented goalkeepers are not born, they become. Is it so?
Future star
In the summer of 1957, a boy was born in Astrakhan, of which many were born in Soviet maternity hospitals. And who would have thought that this kid would become a famous goalkeeper? The baby was named Rinat and began to raise in severity, as is customary in Muslim families. He grew calm and reasonable. The main hobby of his childhood is sports, and he, as a child of seven years old, begins swimming.
As a swimmer, little Rinat shows solid results. And who knows, if he had not broken his arm, perhaps we would have known another Rinat Dasaev - the famous swimming champion. But fate curtsied, and the boy ended up in a hospital bed. The operation done put an end to training and swimming competitions. However, Rinat Dasayev did not interrupt his biography as an athlete.
From the pool to the soccer field
Despite the injury, Rinat did not refuse sports, and his choice fell on football, or rather the Volgar football school. He took the first steps in this sport as a striker. But there was something wrong with this choice. The game did not go well until the boy at one of the trainings was near the goal, which at that time was empty. And why not try your hand as a goalkeeper?
Rinat agreed to defend the sporting frontier and demonstrated excellent goalkeeper makings. He was noticed, the goalkeeper Rinat Dasayev was able to make the game more successful. He was serious about learning and zealously defended his gates.
Moscow "Spartak" and the first serious victories
At the age of 16 he was recognized as the best goalkeeper. Rapidly advancing, from game to game, improving their performance and honing technique. At a fairly young age, Rinat goes to the team of adult football players Volgar. This rarely happened. 17 years is a youth, which, however, did not prevent him from speaking on a par with his older comrades. He was a grateful student, with pleasure adopted the experience of the great masters of the USSR and studied with zeal.
Once in the main team, Rinat used this chance and a year later was accepted by the goalkeeper in the Moscow “Spartak”, which was coached by Konstantin Beskov. His talent has become even more noticeable. The team, which at that time lacked stars from the sky, suddenly began to get around their rivals and earned fifth place in the All-Union Championship. For the first time, Rinat Dasayev appears in the press, photos and notes from the wonder goalkeeper.
Invulnerable Defender
Just a little bit, and here it is, a victory! In 1979, Moscow “Spartak” became the champion of the Soviet Union. So in the biography of Rinat Dasaev appeared the first significant achievements. Having played 30 matches, in 16 he did not miss a single goal. “Spartak”, thanks to the power and talent of its goalkeeper, and then the captain, confidently holds the first places, twice becomes the champion of the USSR.
In total, “Spartak” Dasaev played more than 300 matches. He always studied, was interested in other styles, tried new techniques. As a goalkeeper, he became practically invulnerable; it became impossible to find his weak spot. The brilliant game made him goalkeeper number 1, for the entire sports biography Rinat Dasaev spent more than 200 “dry” matches.
Game for the USSR national team
In 1979, a talented player came to the USSR national team and for several years successfully defended the honor of the country. The team reaches the highest positions thanks to powerful defense and wise goalkeeper tips. In the late 80s, foreign clubs paid attention to the unique game and inflexibility. In the USSR there was no practice of exchanging players. In 1988, the leaders of FC Spartak received a tempting offer and could not refuse it. The Spanish FC Sevilla invites the captain of Spartak to defend their gates. So the biography of Rinat Dasayev enters a new round of development. Having received the consent of the leadership of the Moscow team, he goes to Spain.
This transfer was the first in the history of the USSR. The Spanish fans recognized goalkeeper Rinat Dasayev from the photos that were published in sports publications, and had high hopes for him. He was seen in an impregnable wall, and for some reason it was believed that he would cope alone. But football is a team game, players must be one. That is precisely what has not happened here. Rinat hoped for support and understanding from the club players, there were victories behind this. However, Mrs. Fortuna did not rush to support Spain.
Change of activity
The Soviet intellectual and workaholic Rinat Dasaev was not ready to work in such conditions. An excessive sense of responsibility did not allow to agree with many of the principles and rules of the Spanish team. Having played two seasons in the Spanish “Seville”, he is injured, and while he is being treated, he is being replaced. At the same time, she divorces her wife, who was able to open her gymnastics school and educate children, taking her daughters with her. But recently, Rinat Dasayev and Nelli Gaas appeared in the Soviet media in a photo where they exchanged rings and looked at each other with love. And suddenly...
After a divorce and leaving the Spanish club, he tried himself in another field. In his biography, Rinat Dasayev makes another breakthrough and tries himself as a businessman. He opens a sporting goods store. That one did not last long and was closed, since it did not bring either pleasure or income. The only place that inspired the famous goalkeeper was the stadium, and he devoted himself to working with children. Children are fertile material, it is interesting with them how much you can invest in them. Working with children made it possible to escape from painful thoughts and a bad mood. But not so long ago ... The first meeting, the first kiss, meeting with parents, a wedding. And dreams ... Fallen hopes ... Divorce was very difficult.
Return to Russia
For about ten years, nothing was heard about Dasayev, no one knew where he was and what he was doing. Both parents and journalists were looking for him. However, the search did not lead to anything. He did not write or call. Everything turned out when a correspondent from Komsomolskaya Pravda took up the matter. With the help of basketball player Jose Biryukov, the famous goalkeeper was found. For the better or not, hardly anyone will confirm it. But after difficult persuasion, the football player returns to Russia.
Here he takes part in many projects, games, competitions. Mostly, of course, as a veteran. After a long absence at home, Rinat Dasayev appears on the pages of newspapers, photos and articles about his life and work in Spain.
Having agreed to coaching, she successfully deals with goalkeepers of the Russian national team, Spartak and Torpedo.
In 2003, he became President of the Academy of Football and Goalkeeper Art, which he founded.
