Often in the toy store you can hear sighs of delighted shoppers who, when they see the luxurious doll house, exclaim longingly: “I also dreamed of having the same!” Today, such a dream can be bought at almost any children's store. But not all or not always can afford to part with a significant share of monthly earnings. And it doesn’t matter. After all, you can build a doll house with your own hands. Believe me, a little princess will experience no less pleasure from a doll house made by herself .

In addition, an attempt to create a dwelling for dolls will unite all members of the family. Material needed
Of course, the choice of base material depends on the desired end result. If you plan to create a large doll house with many rooms on several floors, then prefer plywood. However, this method is quite troublesome. In the case of building a house for small dolls, you can do with an ordinary cardboard box. Doll houses can be made from polystyrene foam sheets. The foamy structure of this material lends itself easily to a clerical knife. The ease of this design can be attributed to one of the advantages of using this material.
It is advisable to start the "construction" of the house with the project. This business can be entrusted to the future owner of a luxurious palace. Then, based on real possibilities, we transfer the project to thick sheets of paper (you can use a wallpaper canvas). We use prepared patterns for the manufacture of parts from the selected material. In addition, we will need glue, toothpicks and wall materials.
Home construction
The main details of the house are the walls and the base. The optimal depth for the structure is 30 cm. The width of the entire structure is 120 cm. Next, we mark the side (30x30 cm) and front walls. We cut out window openings on the parts in advance.
First, grease the walls at the junction with glue. We stick a glued seam through the toothpicks for strength. Moreover, only half of the sharp mounts go into the wall, the second part is immersed in the closure. We assemble the entire structure in stages, following the given project. For convenience, all details can be pre-numbered both in the picture and on the details.
After the entire structure is assembled, it is necessary to strengthen the window openings. To do this, cut out strips from the material used, the width corresponding to the wall thickness. From them we form a window block by gluing strips along the inner perimeter of the opening. Then between the frames we firmly insert the partition.
Last of all, we proceed to the decoration of the structure. Given the design parameters, the size of the window openings, cut out the “clothes” for the walls from the wallpaper. In order for the doll house to resemble a small fairy kingdom, we decorate the windows and the end of the walls with a molding, which can be purchased at any hardware store. For wall decor, you can use a paper border. The floor is lined with pieces of linoleum. It remains to equip the doll house with furniture and other interior things - and the doll's dwelling is ready.
