Black Thai Restaurant (Moscow), located on Bolshoi Putinkovsky Lane, has become a serious competitor for neighboring establishments and the third joint project of Ginza and Alexander Rappoport. The main idea was to create a cozy place that works until late at night, without any culinary flirting.
The restaurant “Black Tai” got its name thanks to the pun, which is associated with a strict evening outfit and mysterious Thailand. At first, restaurateur Alexander Rappoprot wanted to stay on the Thai Wan option, but preferred Black Thai.
Interior
Every detail in the institution speaks of the culture of Asian peoples, their traditions, however, everything is expressed in a modern interpretation. Exotic interior, interesting details are emphasized by the black color of the establishment and artifacts brought from Thailand - jugs decorated with national ornament, carved columns resembling an inverted Hindu temple, an elephant harness, an armchair, a wagon that now plays the role of an armchair, and, of course, a symbol of amazing Thailand - magnificent orchids.
In the center of the room is a bar strewn with coins to attract good luck. The ceiling is also not empty: it is decorated with national Uzbek ornaments. Why Uzbek? According to designers, such a design, left from the former institution of Kilima, successfully fits into the picture of the interior, so they did not change it.

Be sure to try the fragrant Black Tai with prune jam, gin, kumwat and violet foam made using molecular techniques. No less impressive is the Walpurgis Night cocktail made from pumpkin juice and gin.
