Undoubtedly, the entrepreneur from the Urals Vasily Melnichenko is a bright and extraordinary personality. The country learned about him after he made critical remarks about the current government at an economic forum held in the Russian capital this spring. A few minutes earlier, an unknown entrepreneur Vasily Melnichenko was able to describe in what difficult conditions the Russian village has to survive. He does not tire of repeating about the unprecedented scale of corruption in our country. The farmer also regularly insists that the domestic policy in the Russian state must be changed for a long time. His quotes: “In Russia, the level of delirium exceeded the standard of living”, “An officer is not a position, not a rank, this is an understanding of honor”, “People, after all, are known to be loved by cannibals” already managed to “leave the people.”

Come from the people
Vasily Melnichenko, whose biography is very interesting and noteworthy, was born into a peasant family in 1954 in Ukraine. His childhood passed in the village, and after graduation, he became a student at the Uman Agricultural Academy. In 1987, Vasily Melnichenko moved to live in the Ural region, where his first occupation was the manufacture of tombstones from marble.
Head of the cooperative
The future farmer quickly settled down to his new place of residence and already in 1989 he was appointed head of the agricultural enterprise (cooperative "Interior") in the village of Rassvet. The case could not be called prosperous: lack of feed, lack of discipline among employees, and so on. But Vasily Melnichenko was able to solve the main problems of the enterprise.
Shops, a bakery, a pastry shop, a fish workshop, a mill, a furniture workshop, and a sewing workshop were built. Production lines were modernized, premises were repaired, and a new transformer substation was erected.
High class enterprise
In 1995, he headed the economy ranks first in the competition of socio-economic development projects, which is organized throughout the country. The enterprise is becoming diversified. In one moment, the flourishing Dawn enterprise did not become. Initially, the Cossacks envied how successfully Melnichenko conducts business. They wanted to impose a tribute to the entrepreneur. But he flatly refused to fulfill their requirements. Then they physically destroyed his brainchild. After some time, the Ural peasant declared war on the raiders and instituted legal advice in the village, which provided services to residents free of charge.

The goal of transforming Galkinsky into a model state farm is incredibly elusive. Nevertheless, Vasily Alexandrovich Melnichenko, whose photo often flashes on the pages of the press, is not going to give up, even in times of economic crisis. Whatever project the Ural entrepreneur implements, difficulties always arose in his path. He is one hundred percent sure that the development of the village in our country is hindered by the officials themselves. In particular, the farmer claims that the authorities deliberately go up the price of diesel fuel so that the land will not be plowed in the village. “Everything is done to make the village die out,” the peasant says. However, Vasily Alexandrovich Melnichenko, the director of the Galkinskoye farm, is not going to give up so simply. For several years, he hatched the idea of making rabbit fur products in his head. To launch his new enterprise, he had to go through the certification of jobs. The entrepreneur is perplexed why officials redirected private health care to citizens. An intermediary company asks for a fairly large amount for its services - more than 120 thousand rubles. “This barrier seriously inhibits the opening of a business. Why am I forced to use the services of a private company? ” - the businessman complains. These are the difficulties Vasily Alexandrovich had to face.
Successful business
Today on the territory of the Center for Initiatives, a rabbit skin processing enterprise is successfully operating.
This is the main business of Melnichenko, which brings its owner a stable income. A peasant from the Urals also built a farm where over one thousand animals are bred. Rabbit fur is used in the manufacture of rugs and fur coats. The meat of the “domestic hare” is delivered to the roadside cafe, which was erected by Vasily Alexandrovich Melnichenko. The farmer assures that the assortment of dishes at his catering point is no worse than in local and even suburban establishments. In particular, the cooks of Melnichenko can offer guests meat in French, savory side dishes, soups, delicious barbecue, roast rabbit, several salad options. Moreover, the prices in the catering establishment, according to visitors, are quite acceptable. In the immediate vicinity of the above catering point is a mini-hotel, in which truckers usually spend the night. This object also brings the owner a small income.
Vasily Alexandrovich does not doubt the success of the “rabbit” business, as he knows how much is in great demand and will use the products manufactured by his enterprise.
Other projects of Melnichenko
Another significant project for the Ural peasant is the construction of economy class apartments.
However, it is not possible to bring it to life, according to Vasily Alexandrovich, without the construction of an enterprise producing ceramic foam. The farmer’s son carefully worked on the design of the latter. Moreover, the development was appreciated by representatives of the scientific community. This is confirmed by various diplomas and certificates that adorn Melnichenko’s office. One way or another, it is still problematic to put the idea into practice, as serious investments are required.
“I have no sources of financing, and I don’t want to borrow money from the bank because of the bonded interest that he wants to receive by issuing a loan for business development. As for the officials, their project from the point of view of investing was not of interest to me. But in Lithuania I built such a plant, ”says the entrepreneur.
Vasily Alexandrovich plans to organize a modern production complex, equipped with the latest equipment, equipped with workshops where products and spacious vegetable stores will be packaged. Melnichenko is ready to acquire production units exclusively of domestic production. “Equipment for the manufacture of silicon products is already being made at our enterprises:“ Electric furnace ”(Rybinsk),“ Energy ”(Voronezh),“ Unihim ”(Yekaterinburg),” said the Ural businessman.
WTO and agriculture
Melnichenko is critical of the fact that our country has joined the WTO. In his opinion, today everyone puzzles over how to “bypass” an international organization. The farmer is convinced that not a single bank will issue a loan to any entrepreneur who intends to develop a business in “disadvantaged” regions.
