What is the formation of personality? This is the formation by the individual of his self-consciousness and the development of his consciousness. A variety of factors influence these changes. But in adolescence and youth, everything happens mainly due to hormonal changes in the growing organism. Changes begin at the psychological level: a person becomes more susceptible to what is happening, learns life lessons, gains experience and, of course, forms a certain system of values. In general, an individual becomes a person.
Each person goes through the formation of personality. In fact, this process lasts a lifetime, but the basic human qualities are formed at a certain age. But it is not very defined and, according to various sources, varies between 13 and 19 years.
However, the whole human life is divided into the stages of personality formation. The first of these is infancy. This period originates at the moment the fetus is in the womb and lasts up to 1-2 years. From about 3 to 8 years old, the child realizes himself as part of a vast world, trying to interact with him in various ways. It is at this age that the strongest childish curiosity manifests itself: the emerging personality wants to learn as much as possible about the world in which it lives. At 8-13 years old, the individual is already clearly aware of his needs. Along with this, he is faced with the presence in society of moral values ββand principles, as well as certain prohibitions. During this period, the formation of personality manifests itself in identifying itself with the world.
And now, from 12-13 years, when puberty begins, contradictions begin to prevail over a person. He no longer wants to be part of the society in which he lives, and therefore he tries to differentiate himself in different ways, to show his individuality and originality. It is this age - the age of riots "against the system", large and not very, but always taking place.

At the age of 15-16, parents, school, television push the teenager to finally decide on his future profession. As a rule, a teenager resists, especially since his elders often do not like his choice. It is difficult for young people in this period, because the professional formation of the personality will begin later - when the person begins to work directly. Although the preparation for this direction in formation one way or another begins from a very early age. From the beginning of work to the moment of retirement, there is a continuous strengthening of the personality in her chosen professional activity. Often a person may never realize himself in his career, which can cause a large number of complexes.

Becoming a person is an extremely complex and multifaceted process. In different situations, there is socialization, as well as adaptation of the individual. He tries on many social roles. Often a person is faced with phenomena that are unacceptable to him, and therefore he always faces the question of what to do: accept one rule or another or go on his own path of development. This is precisely how personality is formed - through constant choice, overcoming the difficulties and contradictions between the inner world and the surrounding world.
