What is the outcome?

There are not many interpretations of the meaning of the word "outcome." Almost always, it tells us about the possible outcome of some incident. Moreover, this refers to not one specific scenario of the development of the event, but any of the permissible ones. If you flip a coin, then all variations of how it falls will be called the outcome.

Scientific definition

In probability theory, an outcome is a possible outcome of an experiment. Each individual result in a particular case is unique, and different results are mutually exclusive (only one of them will take place in each test). All possible options for the development of the experiment are called elements of the space of elementary events.

For an experiment in which we flip a coin twice, the four possible combinations that define our sample are (H, T), (T, H), (T, T) and (H, H), where H represents the eagle and T - tails. Outcomes should not be confused with events that define sets of results (or informally groups).

Events

Since individual outcomes may be of little practical interest, or because many of them may be unnecessary for the experimenter, they are grouped according to certain rules that satisfy some condition called an β€œevent”. A science that studies this issue is called sigma algebra.

An event containing exactly one result is called elementary. If it contains all the possible outcomes of the experiment, then it forms the space of elementary events. One result may be simultaneously part of several such groups.

The significance of the outcome in religion

The word also has another definition related to religion.

The outcome is also a fundamental myth of the Israelites. He talks about the enslavement that befell the children of Israel in Egypt, their liberation through the hand of Yahweh, revelation on Sinai and their wanderings in the wilderness to the limits of Canaan, the land that God gave them. His message is that Israel was freed from slavery by the Lord and therefore belongs to him. This is confirmed by the Tablets of Moses. They say that the Lord will protect the people he has chosen for all the time, while they keep their laws and worship only him. Exodus is the most important thing in the life of the Jews.

Cinematic outcome

The plots and the laws described in it remain central to Judaism, repeated daily in Jewish prayers and celebrated at celebrations such as Easter. They also serve as inspiration and model for non-Jewish groups of early Protestants fleeing persecution in Europe, and African Americans seeking freedom and civil rights.

Book of exodus

The Book of Exodus, or simply Exodus, is the second book of the Torah and the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), immediately following Genesis.

The book tells how the Israelites left slavery in Egypt through the power of the Lord God, who chose Israel as his people. Israel accepts the Yahweh covenant, which gives people their laws and directions to build the Tabernacle. He promises to descend to earth from heaven and live among people, lead them in a holy war, return his land, and then acquire peace.

Artistic outcome

Authorship is attributed to Moses himself. The book is considered as the initial product of the Babylonian exile (VI century. BC. E.).
