History of the creative center
The impressive building for Moskvorechye, a creative center, was built in 1970. Then it was a district palace of culture created at the polymetal plant. In these walls, factory workers could participate in amateur performances, sing and dance, and solemn meetings were also held here. Gradually, the number of various interesting circles increased, more and more people came here to spend their free time with benefit and pleasure.
By the beginning of the 90s, they started talking about Moskvorechye, a creative center throughout the country. All-Union festivals were held on a spacious, well-equipped stage.
But in the 90s, the danger hung over the creative center, which was usual in those days: difficulties with financing, lack of state support. How many such houses of culture were leased, turned into warehouses and shopping centers!
However, the plant, trade unions and the staff of the Palace of Culture were able to defend such an object necessary for the townspeople, and in the 90th year the Palace received the status of a creative center, and after another ten years it became the property of Moscow and became GUK Moskvorechye, a creative center.

On Kashirskoye Shosse, in Moskvorechye, there are no less than 27 circles and sections in different directions:

A unique project is being implemented within the walls of the Moskvorechye creative center on Kashirskoye Shosse, prepared by one of the center’s leaders, Honored Artist of Russia D. Aksyonov.
In the framework of the project “Art school. Theatrical environment ”various Moscow theaters present on the stage of“ Moskvorechye ”the most interesting, unusual and interesting productions. Without leaving your area, you can see musical and drama performances, get acquainted with different genres of theatrical art - the avant-garde and experiment, classics and tradition, Russian and foreign works. The project allows both to see the creativity of young, seeking themselves, directors and artists, and to meet already beloved and honored.
All creative groups often hold reporting concerts and demonstrations within the walls of their home center, and also take part in projects that are held on Moscow venues and in other cities of Russia.
