Private country houses can be heated using different types of boilers. Demand is both electric and diesel and, of course, gas equipment. Most owners of country houses prefer to install exactly the last type of boilers. Of course, gasification of private houses should be carried out in compliance with certain rules and regulations.
Types of projects
Gas equipment, in comparison with alternative devices, has a number of undeniable advantages. The main advantage of heating a house with its use is low cost. Actually the gas boiler itself is more expensive than electric and even diesel. However, since the price of βblue fuelβ is rather low, in the future, the owners of the house can save quite large amounts on heating.
Most often, gasification of private houses is carried out in those settlements where the highway is laid. In this case, the project includes a method of connecting to it, as well as calculations of the length of the pipes necessary for bringing gas to the building.
If there are no highways in the village, an autonomous gasification project is being developed. In this case, among other things, the location of the gas tank and the ways of connecting the boiler to it are determined.
What regulations must be followed?
Gasification of private houses is carried out in accordance with statutory regulations. Permission for a tie-in to a trunk or connection to a gas tank may be issued only if:
If both of these conditions are met, you can proceed with the assembly of the documentation necessary for gasification and the selection of the most suitable equipment.
Room requirements
Gas boiler, according to the regulations, can be installed only in such rooms:
Non-residential rooms. Typically, boilers are installed in the kitchen or in a designated room. The boiler room can be located on any floor, including the basement.
Having a volume of at least 15 m 3 (deviation from the norm by 0.2 m to the greater or lesser side is allowed) and a ceiling height of at least 2.5 m.
Having a window with an opening window leaf. The volume of the hood should be at least three times.
The above standards are provided for boilers up to 60 kW. Gas supply at home in the country most often involves the use of this type of equipment. More powerful boilers are rarely installed by private traders.
What documents will be required
In order to gasify a private house, you will need:
What instances to visit
First of all, the owner of the country house will need to go to the local architectural and planning office. This organization is responsible for the gasification of private homes. Here you will need to obtain written permission. Next, you should visit the fire department (or housing and communal services) and call an inspector at home to inspect the chimney. If it is available and working, the owners of the house will be issued with the appropriate act.
Then you will need to go to the local gorgaz or oblgaz office and get the technical conditions for gas supply to the house. Here you will need to write a statement on the form provided by the employees. It should indicate the approximate demand for the volume of gas per hour. It will be considered within two weeks. Then the technical conditions will be issued to the owner of the house.
Project development
This is done either by Gorgaz employees or engineers of a specialized company. When developing a project:
The cost of the procedure will largely depend on the length of the pipes used to connect the house to the gas pipeline.
Autonomous gasification is carried out using a gas tank. When developing the project in this case, the employees of Gorgaz will have to determine the place of its installation. Choose a site for the installation of a gas tank, taking into account the fact that it should be located at least two meters from the fence of the site and at least 5 m from the house itself.
After the preparation of the project, an agreement is signed with the organization to carry out the connection. Specialists will be able to start this procedure only after the project has been agreed with the technical department of the company that supplies gas to a specific locality. After connecting the house to the highway, its owners will need, among other things, to conclude a contract for the maintenance of equipment. Usually this is the same company that carried out the tie.
Cost
Connecting a home to a centralized highway today is a pleasure, unfortunately, not too cheap. The total cost of gasification includes:
Collection of documentation. You have to pay all kinds of state duties.
Designing a project. In this case, it all depends on the complexity of the work. The cost of developing a project can fluctuate over a wide range - from 2 to 20 thousand rubles.
Wiring of the gas pipeline itself. The cost of work in most cases is about 1 thousand rubles per meter.
Insertion into the highway. For such work will have to pay about 10 thousand rubles.
Well, of course, the price of the boiler, pipes, radiators, etc. should be included in the estimate. Equipment of this type cannot be called cheap either. The cost of the boiler, for example, depending on capacity, can be 17,000-40,000 rubles. Modern bimetallic radiators cost 3-7 thousand rubles. Autonomous gasification will cost, of course, even more expensive. The minimum cost of a gas tank is 60 thousand rubles.
Safety precautions
After connecting the house to the highway, its owners, of course, will have to comply with the rules for using gas equipment. The operation of the boiler can only be started under the supervision of specialists from the company with which the service contract was concluded. Also, all adult residents of the house will have to undergo a one and a half hour safety training in gorgaz.
