Types of material

Glue preparation for use
Preparation of the composition before use for different types of glue is different. Cold glue for roofing material almost ready for sale. It is heated to a small temperature, the solvent is added and mixed, after which it is ready.
Hot is prepared as follows: put bitumen in a thick-walled vessel and heat it over low heat. After the main substance is melted, the necessary components are added and boiled at a low temperature according to the instructions.
How to glue ruberoid?
To use any type of glue, it is necessary to prepare the surface: clean from dust, dirt, crumbs, putty pits, unevenness on the surface. To obtain a good result, it is advisable to apply a primer. Allow to dry.
Glue for bitumen roofing material is applied to the prepared surface, roofing material is laid out on top, smoothing from the center to the edges so that there are no bubbles. If you still have bubbles, you need to pierce them, let out air and press this place tightly. After solidification - release.
Working with hot glue is more difficult. It must be used before solidification.
To create a tight connection between the laying sheets, it is necessary to make the joint not overlapping, but overlapping, leading one sheet to another by about 10 cm. In this case, the seam should also be coated with glue. In this case, you can get a reliable tight connection.

- do not work near open flames;
