The first thing you should focus on is the size of the bed and mattress. Russian standard dimensions of the latter: sixty by one hundred and twenty centimeters, and most of the sets for cots are sewn precisely on them.
But the copies brought from Spain or Italy may vary. So, often such cribs have large dimensions of a berth: sixty-five by one hundred twenty-five centimeters.
These figures are very important, because usually a kit for a crib includes a sheet with an elastic band, which should be suitable for the size of the mattress, and a side, the ease of use of which directly depends on them. Thus, the dimensions of the berth - the first thing you need to pay attention to.
Baby crib kit: what's included
The maximum package includes a blanket, pillow, side with a removable cover, canopy, pillowcase, duvet cover and sheet. Cribs for babies, photos of which can be seen in electronic and paper catalogs of most stores, are equipped just like that, and having bought such a set, you can fully equip a baby's bed.
On the one hand, it is convenient, on the other, many mothers refuse to use a number of components from this kit quite quickly.
So, the canopy, whose main practical purpose is to protect the baby from insects, collects a lot of dust and disrupts the natural circulation of air. In hot weather, the baby under him will be uncomfortable. Aesthetics, of course, is important, but in practice the use of this accessory is doubtful.
Some mothers, for hygienic reasons, refuse to use the side. But here the situation is not so clear. On the one hand, the side also prevents fresh air from entering the bed, on the other, it creates comfort and gives the baby a sense of security. When a child grows up and begins to roll over, such a soft protection will become simply necessary. Blows on the bed grill are unlikely to give the baby pleasure.
