PSUL tape
Pre-compressed self-expanding sealing tape (PSUL) Robiband is a polyurethane foam coating that has an adhesive surface. The product is impregnated with a special composition of the neoprene type. The application of the Robiband tape is quite simple. It is enough to place PSUL in the seam or joint, and it will expand independently, filling the entire space. The surface must first be cleaned of dust. The tape is glued only to one side of the seam; it cannot be stretched and deformed.
The product has the following properties:
- resistant to various climatic factors;
- does not burn;
- possesses chemical neutrality;
- not amenable to ultraviolet radiation;
- not affected by mold and fungal microorganisms.
At the same time, the properties of the tape do not change. It is sold in lengths of 4 and 6 m. The maximum expansion can be from 1.5 to 5 cm, thereby covering a gap of 0.3 to 1.5 cm.
Tape NL
The waterproofing vapor-permeable tape is made of artificial material of a membrane-like non-woven type. Application of the Robiband tape provides reliability of a joint. It is used for waterproofing the lower construction joint.
There are 2 adhesive strips on the tape on one side (and can be made to order on both sides). One relies for fixing the product on the structure, and the other for attaching to the wall.
Tape NL Robiband has the following properties:
- The vapor permeability index is not less than 0.15 units.
- Adhesion to the initial surface from 0.1 MPa.
- It is able to withstand pressure up to 1 thousand PA.
- Operating temperature during operation from -45 to 80 0 .
- Resistant to direct sunlight for 8 months.
It is sold with a width of 8 to 12 cm and a standard length of 12.5 m.
VM tape
The vapor barrier tape of VM Robiband is made of aluminum foil, which is reinforced with special artificial threads. The latter are extremely durable.
The use of VM tape In Robiband is recommended for the implementation of internal vapor barrier of construction joints, in order to further treat the slope with plaster. There are 2 adhesive strips on the surface of the product. They are usually located on different sides, but they can be placed on one on the customer’s request. One strip helps fix the tape to the structure, and the second is mounted on a slope or wall.
Technical properties of VM Robiband tape are the same as the previous one (NL). The product is sold in skeins of 12.5 m in length. The width of the tape is 8, 10, 12 and 15 cm. It is sold ready-to-use, so that no special tools are needed.
Sun ribbon
The Robiband BC tape is also an aluminum foil, which is reinforced with special durable synthetic threads. It has 2 adhesive strips on different sides (but the manufacturer can order them in a different way).
Application in the frame house of the Robiband VS tape is intended only for internal vapor barrier of construction joints. In this case, the slopes should be finished with the dry method in the future (for example, plastic slopes, sandwich panels, etc. are used).
One adhesive strip is fixed on the structure, and the second on the wall. The product has the same specifications as the previous one. The tape can be purchased with a length of 12.5 m and a width of 8 to 15 cm.
Sun + tape
The use of a BC + Robiband-tape in a wooden house also involves carrying out internal vapor barrier of construction joints in order to further carry out the finishing work of the slopes using the dry method.
The tape is sold in rolls of 12.5 m and a width of 8 to 15 cm. The width should be selected as follows: 4.5 cm should be added to the gap thickness. If necessary, use wider varieties.
One adhesive strip is fixed to the slope or wall, and the other in full width will be fixed to the structure.
