The “series”, as they would say today, about the adventures of the funny bear Winnie the Pooh consists of only two independent works: “Winnie the Pooh” and “The House on the Downy Edge” written by A. A. Milnom in 26-28 years of the last century, brilliantly translated into Russian by B. Zakhoder. What are these good and bright tales about, built in the form of short stories told by father to son? Probably about friendship, revenue, mutual assistance. And they are just full of joy and optimism, and their stories are similar to children's games. The writer, as if chuckling and kindly bantering, draws the characters of the main characters. And the Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh is one of the most interesting characters.
Stochrovy forest and its inhabitants
Milne settled Christopher Robin, the bear, the rabbit, the piglet, and other characters in the Wonderful Forest. Here the main action of these fairy tales takes place. And the Forest itself is a magical place for play, children's fantasies and creative flight. Heroes begin to live their own lives. In this wonderful forest, time freezes. This is expertly conveyed by Milne, a long stretching time of early childhood. No wonder one of the stories characteristically begins with the sentence: "Once upon a time, it seems, last Friday ..."
Winnie the Pooh Rabbit
If the Little Bear from the fairy tale is just a symbol of optimism and epicureanism, then the Rabbit is the embodiment of practicality and caution. Take at least the well-known episode when Vinnie comes to visit the character, and he replies that "there is absolutely no one at home." The rabbit from Winnie the Pooh also uses the legs of the stuck Bear to dry clothes, waiting for him to lose weight. By the way, according to this fairy tale hero, he is one of the two inhabitants of the forest who have brains (the rest have cotton wool). For this reason, probably, the Rabbit from "Winnie the Pooh" considers himself a very important person. He loves ordering in everything, he is very angry when someone does something wrong, not according to the rules specified by them. Garden for him - the most important thing. Digging in the ground, he devotes his main time. In Winnie the Pooh, the character first appears in the chapter when the teddy bear is visiting.
Soviet cartoon
In 1971, Soyuzmultfilm created another magnificent work about the Stochra Forest - Winnie the Pooh Visits, which has rightfully become a classic of the genre. A talented translation and original poems by Boris Zakhoder, ingenious voice acting of characters, the ability to highlight the main thing and have time to say it in a short time of the cartoon - all this became the key to the success of the tape. The rabbit from Winnie the Pooh (Soviet version) is the main character of this film. In the story, Pooh and Piglet are visiting the Rabbit, and the teddy bear, after eating enough dishes, gets stuck at the exit from the hole. But what to tell - you have to look at it! In general, with the main plot preserved, this cartoon can be considered as an independent highly artistic work based on the tales of Milne (approximately, as in the story with Pinocchio and Pinocchio).
Winnie the Pooh Rabbit (Disney Version)
The Disney cartoon series is more full-length and, so to speak, close to the original (at least in the first series). As always, characters are well drawn and Christopher Robin is present as one of the main characters (which is not in Soviet cartoons). But this is rather a film adaptation than the original work, although it is also very popular among children and adults of all ages.
