In a house with children, a lot of money wasted. Either kids need a new toy, then a book, or something else. In this article I want to talk about how to make a sticker at home, so that at least a little, but save money and make the sticker exactly original.
Method 1
It’s easier, of course, to just buy a sticker in a store or order it at a print shop using your own layout. However, this is not so interesting. So, how to make a sticker at home? In this case, you will need a color printer (laser or inkjet), as well as a self-adhesive film (it must match the printer). Now you have to print the selected image, cut the film along the contour and stick it on the necessary surface - the car, laptop cover, etc.
Method 2
The next way to make a sticker at home will be somewhat similar to the previous one. You will also need an adhesive film, but the picture or photo is selected separately and simply glued on top. In this option, it’s impossible to cut a product beautifully along the contour. The ends of the film will have to hold the pattern on the selected surface. However, this is also a good way to create stickers with your own hands.
Method 3
The next way to make a sticker at home. To do this, you need to choose a suitable pattern, print it or cut it out, and then glue it to the desired surface (always pre-fat free) using ordinary glue (PVA or silicate - depending on which surface the pattern will be glued to). The method is quite simple, but such stickers are short-lived, because they are not protected from moisture, can quickly fade in the sun. According to the same principle, you can put drawings not on glue, but on double-sided tape, this is also a good option, but its disadvantages remain the same.
Method 4
A sticker can be prepared at home using plain parchment paper. It is interesting that such a pattern will be glued specifically to clothing. To do this, cut out the selected pattern from the bag, attach it to your pants or a T-shirt, cover it with parchment paper (you can use baking paper of any color) and iron it thoroughly with a hot iron. If the drawing did not stick the first time, the operation should be repeated. It is worth noting that it will be better to stick drawings of a small size, because the iron can easily be walked on them at a time.
Method 5
Now I want to talk about how to make a vinyl sticker, but for this you will need the help of a printing house. First you need to prepare the layout. To do this, the selected picture must be presented in vector form (this can be done independently using the program "Corel"). If there are no such skills, printing workers will be happy to help. Next, the picture is transferred to the film. You can also do this in a print shop, but you can try to do it yourself. To do this, you need to purchase a special film and apply a picture to its surface from the back. It will not be too difficult to do this, because the indicated material is divided into squares. Now the sticker needs to be attached to the desired surface. This is a rather difficult and time-consuming stage. Also for this you need to stock up with mounting tape. The drawing is applied to a dry, clean and even surface, glued with a mounting film on top, and smoothed with a squeegee. After that, the film is carefully removed. If any part has come unstuck, it must be put in place and, again, thoroughly patted with a squeegee. Everything, the product is ready and already in place!
