Moscow is the ancient capital of Russia and the Russian state. Having lost this status for two centuries to St. Petersburg, it returned it in 1918. Opening

Events
In 2008, the Classics electronic cinema hall was opened in the building and the action “Present a book to the city” was held. About 10 thousand Russians took part in the action. In December of that year, a film festival was held here in the library dedicated to the work of Alexei Batalov and dedicated to the anniversary of the actor.
In November 2009, the famous French couturier P.
