Arkady Hait: biography of a satirist
The future writer was born in Moscow in the family of an ordinary engineer. Hait Arkady Iosifovich, whose date of birth is January 25, 1938, lived in a communal apartment with his family who moved from Odessa. The boy was never bored: kind neighbors, a cheerful elder brother, dad, who loved to joke and did it intelligently, softly, sharply - such a surrounding situation instilled in Arkady a great sense of humor, which gave the future writer a ticket to life.
Years of students of Arkady Haight
Initially, the young man had a career in the construction industry. Haight Arkady even followed in his father's footsteps and became a student at the Metropolitan Civil Engineering Institute. It was within the walls of this educational institution that a fateful meeting took place with Alexander Kurlandsky, a future fellow pen and, at that time, also a student.
Acquaintance of young people occurred during the patrol service, which often attracted students. As national combatants, children in groups of four guarded the peace of the inhabitants of the city.
Kurlandsky, being the head of the patrol, drew attention to the mocking guy Arkasha, who was on the shift with him and joked so that all those present laughed to the point of colic. Some time later, Alexander was instructed to organize a student skit. A freshman, Haight, was advised to help. Having found him, Alexander was surprised to recognize Arkasha from the patrol in the young man.
Kapustnik became famous throughout Moscow, and the formed creative duet of both authors lasted until 1973. Its collapse was facilitated by the difference in the perception of creativity that appeared in the process of working together, which prevented each of the authors from developing further.
The first steps in creativity
Heit Arkady Institute, a capitalist, graduated in 1961, worked for some time in his specialty, but the love of the word and literature later immersed him in writing.
In his work, Hight devoted the lion's part of his time to the younger generation. Heit never boasted, although he was considered a wealthy person, but the post-perestroika crisis burned down all his savings.

In family life, Arkady was happily married to Klimova Lyudmila. Son Alex also chose the path to the film industry: he studied at the Academy of Arts in Munich. Subsequently, he worked with his Japanese colleagues as a producer and screenwriter to create an animated and quite popular film, The First Squad.
The last years of the life of Arkady Haight
While on tour in Estonia, Arkady Iosifovich Khait felt ill; the writer was forced to return to Munich to go to one of the clinics for examination. Unfortunately, the doctors made a mistake with the diagnosis and the writer was treated for a completely different disease. For two years, Arkady Iosifovich bravely fought for life, but in vain. He died in a hospital in Munich on February 22, 2000. His ashes rest in the same city in the old Jewish cemetery.
The story of one portrait
Shortly before his passing away, a mystical story occurred, which Alexander Levenbuk, the main director of the Shalom Theater, very clearly remembers. On one of his visits to Moscow, Arkady brought to the Shalom Theater a portrait painted by Igor Kvasha. Despite the amusement and positivity of Hight in life, he was depicted in the picture as serious. This work, placed in Levenbukâs office, was once seen by one of the actresses who had extrasensory abilities. Looking at her for a long time, she said that Arkady was seriously ill. Having a medical education, Levenbuk did not believe her words, considering his friend to be completely healthy. After a short time, it became known that Arkady has leukemia, which is too late to treat.
