The park in honor of the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution is one of such complexes in the capital of the Republic of Belarus. The first thing to say is that, like most of the green areas of the city, the park of the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution is a zone of urban recreation. It was founded during the Soviet regime in 1977 in memory of the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution. From here comes its name.

You can enter the park of the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution from two entrances - central and black. Both have nearby car parks. However, keep in mind that parking in front of the central gate is often used by residents of surrounding houses. In addition, its capacity is relatively small, so it is likely that leaving the car there will be difficult. Parking at the second exit is much more spacious, and it’s much easier to attach your car to it. It is this parking lot that appears to you if you approach the park from the side of the Pushkinskaya metro station.
The pond in the park area is located directly behind the main entrance. Willow trees are planted around it, and ducks swim in the water during the summer season. There is even a kind of small waterfall.
You can still find two small ponds, if you delve a little into the park of the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution. Minsk boasts many beautiful places, but this area is the best suited for photo shoots, especially dedicated to the wedding celebration. The fact is that through one of the pools a beautiful forged bridge was laid, on the railing of which the newlyweds hang wedding locks as a symbol of eternal love and a strong family.
If you go even further, you can find a beautiful spring with clean drinking water. A huge number of shops are scattered throughout the park.
Children will also not be bored in the park. In addition to the playground, various attractions and carousels are open for them. They are located near the back entrance.
Park disadvantages
The disadvantage of this park is only one annoying circumstance - in the event of a sudden rain, you have to reconcile yourself to the elements, get wet in the alleys or hide under the crowns of the surrounding trees. Just in this park there are no hinged structures under which it would be possible to shelter from the weather.
Visitors
The 60th Anniversary October Park is popular as a wedding venue. Newlyweds like to come here to be photographed. This is especially convenient for those who passed the registration and wedding ceremony in the registry office of the Frunze district, located nearby. Also, this area is loved by young people who gather here in the evenings. In addition, the regulars of the park area are residents of nearby houses, especially those who contain a dog. Entrance to the park is free.

This place of leisure and recreation is located at the intersection of Matusevich and Danila Serdich streets. Thus, the easiest way to get to it is from Sportivnaya metro station. You can do this on foot, after passing a couple of bus stops, or by passing buses (No. 11 and No. 29).
