Terrace is a specially created area, which is a continuation of the house, intended for relaxation. Such structures can be located not only on the first, but also on the second floor. Recently, the owners of country houses began to equip terraces, even on the roof. This arrangement allows you to make your vacation as enjoyable as possible and at the same time gives originality to the exterior of the building.

How to mount a heater
Mineral wool or polystyrene foam can be used as a heat insulator in the terrace floor cake. Plates should be laid in two layers. In this case, you must try to make sure that the seams of the lower and upper do not coincide. If polystyrene foam is used for insulation, the joints between the sheets must be filled with special mounting foam or glued with tape. Mineral wool slabs are simply installed very tightly to each other.
Tile installation
Such material for the terrace floor is very good. However, when choosing a tile, you should pay attention to its texture. Smooth slippery material to use on the roof, of course, is highly undesirable. It is better to purchase a rough tile. Relief buying is also not worth it. It is usually even easier to slip on such a surface than on absolutely smooth.
When using tiles as a waterproofing agent, it is better to use not a film, but a roofing material or bitumen. A cement screed is poured over them. After the concrete has matured, the tile itself is installed using standard technology.
Installation of a terrace board
This material must first be selected correctly. If the roof terrace will be used very often, it is worth buying a denser board. This kind of material is characterized by increased wear resistance. If it is supposed to arrange, for example, a pool or a fountain on the terrace, it is better to buy a board with a low density. Such material in this case will be more appropriate, since water evaporates very quickly from it.
This coating is mounted on a wooden frame. Harness and logs can be made, for example, from a beam of 50 x 50 mm. Boards are fixed on the base using special brackets. You can also just nail them with nails. A compensation gap of 3-4 mm should be left between the boards.
What furniture to install
The roof terrace of the house is, of course, first of all a place intended for relaxation. Therefore, here you should definitely set benches and tables. Such furniture can be made of different materials. A very inexpensive option are plastic tables and chairs. Today, pretty pretty garden furniture made of this material is on sale. Plastic interior items, unfortunately, have one rather significant drawback. Such tables, benches and chairs weigh very little. With strong winds from the roof they can simply be demolished. Therefore, such furniture is better to fix something to the floor or parapet.

But at the same time, such furniture is not afraid of the effects of humidity and temperature extremes. If desired, you can install interior items woven from willow on the terrace. How to equip a terrace: summer garden

However, deciding to install a fountain on the roof, you need to take care of the tightness of its bottom and the discharge of water. The drain pipe is the easiest to put in a storm.
