Construction is not an area that allows technological stagnation. In particular, for this reason, construction technologies have recently undergone significant changes, accumulating all the technical experience gained that has been gained by industry. A great example is the OSB plate. Its application is truly multifaceted: they use this material not only in construction, but even in the furniture industry.

Europeans, who have long been practicing the construction of sandwich panels, turned up very well. The cost of finished buildings managed to be further reduced in price due to the fact that a moisture-resistant OSB-plate, the price of which is relatively low, is already being produced in our country. I must say that OSB-plates themselves are not used in construction, since they are used to make sip panels. Very well this material has proven itself in low-rise construction. I must say that Western technology provides for the possibility of building houses in two or three floors, but in our climate it is better not to experiment. But in this case, as a foundation, you can use ordinary and extremely cheap columnar structures. Given that the OSB-plate (the use of which it proved) is a very light material, the pressure on the ground is minimal. Of course, on heaving soils it is still better to fill in a monolithic pillow, since the advantages of SIP-panels will not be able to prevent deformation of the building.
An important difference of this material is the absolute evenness of the walls being built, as well as their amazing resistance to environmental influences. In particular, the OSB plate (the use of which confirmed this) does not need to be painted, and if desired, siding finish takes literally a couple of days, since it can be mounted directly to the wall without using a crate.
The production of OSB panels has been launched in many large cities of our country, so that if you wish, you can even order a large batch, even more saving your money. Note that when ordering, special attention should be paid to the quality of the packaging of the material and the condition of its surface. In the presence of any damage and chips it is better to refuse the purchase.
As you can see, you should not be afraid of houses, which are based on the OSB-plate. Its use in the most diverse climatic zones has convincingly shown that they are extremely strong and durable.
