Social problems of youth as a reflection of social problems of society

We often pay attention to the social problems of modern society, to questions and needs that concern, if not the entire population, then most of it for sure. Well, if there are such general problems, then we are not alone. This fact gives us the opportunity to unite in the name of solving such issues and gives a signal to solve them.

Social problems of society arose periodically in all civilizations and in all ages. How can military power be justified by the lack of intelligence among the population? How can the slogan “the end justifies the means” come true so rudely and brutally? Is it possible in the name of imaginary power to neglect the life and happiness of children, their right to a normal childhood? Such a society suffers from an incorrigible lack of morality. It is, of course, about Sparta. Although not only this ancient Greek policy was faced with similar problems.

The lack of moral concepts in society always leads to upheaval within such a society. “Bloody Legislation” in England The Tudors fought with tramps in the 15th-16th centuries. Such examples can be built into a long list, but they have one feature in common - none of them solved the problem fundamentally. In addition, humanity has not learned how to use the experience of previous generations. We step on the same rake again and again.

For example, in our time, the social problems of youth more than ever make themselves felt, being a projection of all social problems. The first of these should be called paid higher education. No, definitely, there are so-called “freebies” in universities. However, often these places are “corrupt”. From this it is concluded that in order to obtain a higher education, it is not so much knowledge and ability that is required as a thick wallet of parents.

Further, the social problems of youth rest against jobs. It is difficult to get a job for the elderly, young people without experience. It is almost impossible to find work for pregnant women and mothers with young children. Even with the existing law supposedly protecting motherhood, pregnant women are laid off. Of course, this is not done so explicitly, but not all receive “maternity” payments.

Closed municipal kindergartens, huge queues for getting a place in still existing kindergartens, enormous "entrance fees" when registering a baby - all these are also social problems of youth. At the present stage, they are particularly acute. Are these not the social problems of youth that should be addressed in the very near future?

The fact is that society is based on the relations between individuals. And the family, in which everything is also built on the relations of its members, is in a sense a micromodel of society as a whole. Maybe the fate of the whole society depends on her?

And, of course, one cannot get around the issue of the decline of morals. The solution to this problem originates in the family. Why? Perhaps because it gives the child life, upbringing, and prepares for relationships with other members of society (this is ideal). The child is growing up and is ready to form his own family, and so on in a chain generation after generation. So the basics are always formed in the family.

But today, the whole country observes the fact that alcoholism, prostitution, drug addiction, theft, murder bloom in modern society with a double color. Moreover, age-related indicators regarding these phenomena are getting younger every year.

This is an alarming signal that arose even with the collapse of the USSR, when the young generation was no longer needed, as, in general, the adult population. From here moral degradation, loss of ideals, aspirations, substitution of moral values took its roots .

Although today everything is different. This is in the 90s the possibilities were limited. And now? They become more and more among young people, however, many young people are still not interested in anything.

Television, the Internet, and the media do not contribute to the moral growth of an individual, but to its fall into the abyss. The norm was humor “below the belt”, sounding from the stage, forbidden words are openly pronounced and written in newspapers. For us, politeness and elementary etiquette has become a rarity, stupid dictate the rules of life for the smart, because smart are in the minority.

And if we take into account the problem of child alcoholism and drug addiction, in general, hope for a bright future is lost. How did we get to such a drop in morality that parents became indifferent to their own children? And they need care!

No one in our place will solve either the problems of the whole society, or the social problems of youth in particular. Yes, they should be decided by everyone, but everyone should start with himself. Then, perhaps, there will be hope for something bright and good there, ahead.
