Each has its own Prague. Whoever was there at Christmas is frosty and spicy, warm and bright in summer, and slightly rainy and romantic in autumn. The most beautiful capital of the Czech Republic has something to show and how to treat its guests. The incredibly cozy atmosphere of the city captivates: a little melancholy and mysterious, but pleasant and friendly.
The Gothic architecture of Prague is intertwined with the buildings of modern shopping centers, cobblestone pavements with large highways, original home cooking with original solutions.
Someone goes to the Czech Republic in order to touch history, visit ancient castles and museums, and someone - to taste the legendary beer, wander around the many shops and bring home something special, exclusively Czech.
In order not to think where to shop for a long time, we offer a short guide to Prague shopping centers and shops.

You don’t have to look for the Palladium shopping center for a long time - it is a catchy old building, the facade of which is painted with the “tasty” color of Marsala. But the exterior is deceiving, inside the historical structure there are five floors of an ultra-modern shopping mall.
The number of stores is amazing - 180 departments with fashionable clothes of famous European brands, cosmetics, men's and women's perfumes, stylish accessories, household appliances, books ... Parizska street
If you are hunting for discounts - not your option, and you are going to Europe for the latest in luxury brands, then do not pass by Paris Street (Prague). Shopping centers and inexpensive souvenir shops on this street are not found. Here are the most famous and expensive boutiques: Chanel, Dior, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Prada and others. Each season, the assortment is replenished with new collections, and things from last seasons are sent to outlets. You can also have a cup of coffee at restaurants in Paris at the price of a full lunch, and dine at the price of shoes from H & M.
Of course, seasonal sales are also in these boutiques, but nevertheless, you cannot call this shopping economical.
Czech cosmetics
If you ask women who have already been to the Czech Republic: “What to buy in Prague?”, They will answer with one voice - Manufaktura!
“Manufactory” is a natural cosmetics and handmade soap. The main ingredients of cosmetics are: beer, Movar wine, Dead Sea salts and medicinal herbs. Cosmetics have a rejuvenating effect, perfectly cleanses and moisturizes the skin, and beer-based shampoos accelerate hair growth, and make curls shiny and dense.
The brand has stylishly designed gift baskets that can be brought to relatives and friends. And of course, do not forget about yourself. Today, the products of the “Manufactory” can be bought in domestic online stores, but it is much more pleasant and reliable to purchase them in the very heart of the Czech Republic.
You can buy brand products at Manufaktura Boutique at 17 Melantrichova Prague. Shopping centers also sell this cosmetics in the perfumery and cosmetic departments, it will not be difficult to find it.
Beer
And if the question: “What to buy in Prague?” ask the men, they will answer: "Definitely a beer!"
The Czech Republic is famous for brewing, and even those who are skeptical of this drink admit that Czech beer is worthy of attention. Light, dark, filtered, unfiltered, for every taste of connoisseurs and for beginners to sample. Small private breweries in Prague are almost on every corner, so it makes no sense to describe them all, you need to try!
And with you, you can bring beautiful beer mugs straight from the capital of brewing, which depicts beautiful Gothic Prague. Shopping centers always have souvenir departments, and there you will find them.
Shoes Bata
Czech shoes "Bata" - the embodiment of the European style: concise, practical and very high quality. The brand produces shoes for men, women and children for all seasons. These are summer sandals and clogs, shoes for special occasions, comfortable sneakers, stylish moccasins, practical rubber, and warm winter shoes.
The largest store is located on Wenceslas Square. Walking past a six-story building with a huge Bata sign is simply impossible. And all these six floors - a store where Bata shoes are sold, two floors of women's shoes and one for men and children. You won’t be able to get out without new loafers or a sneaker, and you’ll hardly want to.
A smaller number of brand shoes can be found in almost all shopping centers. It is difficult to imagine shopping in Prague without buying a real pair of comfortable Czech shoes.
Symbols of Prague
Another way to spend money in Prague is to buy a souvenir, representing the city or country, as a keepsake. Remember, a children's cartoon about a cute mole and his friends? Invented in the 50s by Zdenek Miller, he became a real symbol of the Czech Republic. In any shopping center or souvenir shop in Prague you will find dishes, bags, watches, pillows, key rings with the image of the Czech mole, as well as plush toys, from small to very large.
Another souvenir that will delight your child is a handmade puppet doll. Heroes of national fairy tales, animal figures, and good witches will become an original gift for a modern child, and adults will not refuse to decorate the interior with such a stylish souvenir from Czech masters.
Jewelry from the Czech Republic was once very much appreciated by fashionistas of the Soviet Union. Priorities have changed since then, but the quality and grace of Czech jewelry is not. The special charm is that the natural stones (garnets and vltavin) from which the products are made are mined here in the Czech Republic. Local jewelers know how to correctly set stones and in which metals to look noble and expensive.
If you still do not know where in Europe you can buy dishes made of porcelain or crystal - then this is Prague. Shopping centers offer products from Czech porcelain and Bohemian glass. This will be a wonderful gift for connoisseurs of dishes made in the classical style, for example, mom or grandmother. However, such exquisite things can become an adornment of even the most modern interior.
Discount Seasons in Prague
You can go to Prague for profitable purchases four times a year. The most generous month for discounts is December. At the end of the year, almost all stores seek to free shelves from last year's goods for a new assortment.

Autumn sales in Prague are the calmest, but there is still a chance to buy an autumn one, and if you're lucky, even a winter coat at a bargain price. From the beginning of October and for two to three weeks, the discounts are not very large, and if you plan to save well, it is better to wait until the end of the year.
