Battlefield 3 can not be called ideal in terms of a single player campaign, offering a cranberry story with a rather sluggish performance. This is a regular ten-hour workout, which has a huge number of different cliches and genre stamps. Here we have several heroes at risk of giving everything that is dear to them in order to protect their homeland. From time to time, terrorist intrigues and the corresponding level of moral granularity appear, and under the top the crammed script scenes are very much reminiscent of those of Call of Duty, but in a better graphical environment. Compared with the same Bad Company 2, the game has become more linear, which somewhat spoils the overall impression of the gameplay. In principle, a single is a presentation of the technical features of the project: beautifully exploding buildings, moderately realistic behavior of vehicles and weapons, missions with fighters and tanks, beautiful scenery and impressive textures - all this will be a great guide before the epic entry into the world of multiplayer. Of course, the most significant asset of Battlefield 3 is a spectacular and exciting multiplayer mode that captivates the player for hundreds of hours. The battles on the vast maps, designed for 64 players, are a real theater of war, where each new battle becomes something unique. The developers did not radically change the mechanics of the multiplayer, leaving 4 classes (engineer, sniper, attack aircraft and support), each of which has its own set of weapons and skills. On many maps you will have to adhere to certain tactics in order to win. What is especially well implemented in Battlefield 3 is military equipment. Helicopters, fighters, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and other modes of transport are very well developed, and their participation plays an important role in the destruction of the enemy team. Shooting from them is a pleasure, and what is happening on the other side of the monitor turns into an exciting attraction. The variety of maps, modes, and weapons is also impressive. Finally, there is a certain customization of the arsenal, which helps to adjust the weapon "for themselves." In general, the multiplayer turned out just great. In addition to great multiplayer and single, the developers also created a cooperative mode, designed for 2 players. We are offered to defeat 6 missions, whose plot is actually not connected. They are quite fleeting and linear, and, perhaps, only a sniper episode and a helicopter mission are remembered. It’s immediately obvious that the developers were in a hurry to “finish off” the game by the right time, and therefore the cooperative came out rather mediocre. Nevertheless, if the story campaign is completed, and the multiplayer is already fed up with it, then you can pass 5-6 hours of time in company with a friend.

Technical problems
Immediately after the release, the game acquired a huge number of bugs, which were fixed with the release of patches. Nevertheless, and now from time to time, various kinds of errors appear, the most common of which we will now describe.
- Sound problems in videos. Turn off vertical sync.
- Flies with the error "APPCRASH". You must disable Ati Tray Tools or Riva Tuner if they are installed on the PC.
- When connecting to the server, it knocks out "You were disconnected from the login server". Delete the hosts file located in the root folder of Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc.
- It does not start on Windows XP. Above, we already described system requirements for “Battlefield 3”, where we indicated that the minimum required OS weight is Vista, since the game does not support DirectX 9.
- Throws out from a multiplayer match and writes: PunkBuster kicked player 'youname'. Turn on the punkbuster in the settings. If this item has already been preinstalled before, then reinstall the program.
