A bit of history
It opened in 1952 as a station for young naturalists. Here, students could study the environment, the nature of the region. Four years later, the station was renamed the Regional Children's Excursion and Tourist. This happened for a reason - now the guys participated in the organization of hiking in nature, various excursions within the region. The center of ecology, tourism and regional studies of the Stavropol Territory received its current name in 2003.
What does he do?
In the Regional Center for Ecology, Tourism and Local History of the Stavropol Territory they are engaged in environmental education and upbringing, as well as labor education. Children together with adults spend community work days, organize hiking trips. The center’s specialists are organizing summer vacations for children studying here at the Solnechny children's recreation and educational center, which is located nearby - in the resort Pyatigorsk.
